Shame - we covered the shock in particular showing that the settings were at maximum for a solo rider therefore the passenger was from measurements and settings not a good idea, plus some other concepts and considerations.
Hi,i have a 2012 Multistrada with manual suspension and I have a problem. I have set my sag correctly,i even added a bit more preload so the bike is not 50-50 but more 60-40 "tilted forward". On the highway the front end gets very loose, but mostly when going past trucks or its a windy day. Even the slightest movement on the handlebars would almost initiate a wobble. What would be the problem? I have set compression and rebound "by feel" so the bike doesnt dive zoo much when braking. I do feel like a pogo stick sometimes on worse roads, this would be the rear damping on compression?
Wobble would be too much weight on the front tire OR rebound damping mismatch for the front and rear. Often, that means shock rebound is too fast. Watch the "rebound too fast or too slow" videos and then tire wear videos for rebound to self diagnose. The last data point would be how much shock travel are you using and there is a video on that to watch.
You can do that via increasing spring preload with the stock shock, you can increase spring preload and compression to elevate the area the shock travels in, you can speed up rebound slightly to do the same thing and in a more complicated way, remove the shock and spring and increase the installed preload. I do not believe you have ride height adjustment as a feature in the shock.
@@pipo655scu7 ... and based on that information, it is the weight of the load, speed ridden, type of road etc listed along with correct tire pressures for that load? We can make our motorcycle work really well for us on our roads at our pace and to do that we have to get to work via testing to find out what we need.
Learnt absolutely nothing from that video 🤯😁👍

Is there a link to the skyhook suspension settings? 🏍🏍

Hello Dave!
I have a 2016 Ducati Multistrada Pikes Peak, I want to raise the rear end. Is that possible?

@@catalystreactionsbw mmmm... I have the touring settings dialed in from the owners manual. It calls for 18 clicks on both preload and rebound.

Why is everyone talking shit about the electric suspension ?
Much easier to use tools that spend minutes going through screen after screen. Maybe that is one of the primary reasons?
It tests vocabulary and mathematical ability not reasoning
