I've seen this performance, probably 100 times, now, and I STILL cannot make it through it without tearing up!! SO GOOD, RIGHT??!!

Robert's trying to keep his cool, but you can see the tears welling up in his eyes. And he's not alone. Great reaction to an iconic tune!

Robert, Jimmy, and John Paul . . . moved to tears! And John Bonham's trademark Bowler (worn by his son, Jason) . . . A lovely tribute!!!! The 60's-70's were so wonderful -- to grow-up immersed in so much great music, amazing bands, and TRUE artistry!

The music and iconic bands and singers of the 1960's and the 1970's cannot be touched. They set the standard.

I try to never miss Kennedy Center Honors. There have been some great ,great Tributes, but this one was the greatest of all.I shedded tears that night, and now watching reactors who weren't even born when Stairway was a hit,I can't help but to become teary eyed watching them enjoy this special performance, and appreciate Led Zeplins
smiles of approval,of Hearts performance,It does not get better than that.

Some of the most perfect minutes in rock n roll history. If you don't get emotional, you just don't know what you're doing. Great reaction dude.

I completely agree with how you feel about music. A legend singing to legends. It's beautiful and so emotional. Thank you for your heartfelt reaction.

As someone who grew up in the 60's and 70's I echo your feelings and emotions with regard to this being proper music that will live forever. Not much modern music will.

Songs like these are the back bones in music they say what they mean and they speak right to the heart and soul since it’s real music not the stuff today it’s all filled with fake lines and a life that’s not approachable to the regular people it’s crazy 🥰

April 8, 1970 - I saw Led Zeppelin perform in Dorton Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina. They had released 2 albums at that point. Zep returned for 4 encores and on the 4th, RP said "We don't have anymore songs!" Suggestions from the crowd rang out. The next thing I knew is they said "We'll do Blue Suede Shoes." The Elvis version was the only one I was aware of and I thought it a strange one to choose. But now I understand the whole blues influence. Live and finally learn. The best and my most cherished concert I've ever been to!

Brother 50 years later this song can still bring a 70 year old grizzled veteran to tears.

What an experience for everyone in the audience. The bowler hats worn by the choir always gets me. I remember the DJ on our local station announcing the death of John Bonham. Missing him and the beauty of this brings good tears to my cheeks.

I wish people would recommend the full version to reactors. Unfortunately, the iconic guitar solo was cut short. There are 2 versions of this masterpiece performance, 8 min. and 6 min. Most reactors unwittingly play the shorter one, lacking one verse and unforgivably missing part of the guitar solo. I wouldn't mind as much if it came with a disclaimer.

Don't stop me now!!! Hi Hi Hi. It's the best cover. Amazing!! Thank you Alex. If I had been there, I think I would have lit the lighter and raised my hand (at least until the security guys got on top of me, and I wouldn't have gone out without a fight).

I get emotional as the greats are getting older or have died. So sad to see the effects of time.

It is beyond us to confer. There's a word, it is ineffable. It means the lack of words to express the precise feeling or sense we are attempting to convey.
There are no words to match this. Stop trying. You'll only pollute what has already been laid down. Be satisfied and joyous!
