Thank you for this great review. I just rented a smaller version of this Journey (my car broke down) and now I know how to work everything. First time driving a keyless vehicle. I've only ever driven 90s cars. I didn't know the arm rest slid back so thanks for showing all this. Love your videos.
That was very informative. I just bought this same very one but with the 3.5L last Monday. I learned some things about my journey that I did not know. Thanks for sharing.

Good video Mike. I have a suggestion, get the car or truck up on a lift, so you can show and describe the undercarriage. It doesn't have to be extensive, for example: suspension type, and the metal used, type of frame, or if it's a unibody, the type of subframe. Also you'd have an underside look at the engine and transmission, and if equipped the transfer case, and what ever else you think is relative. This would be a chance to acquaint people, to this much taken for granted, but vital area of a vehicle. Also mike, you asked about my knowledge of auto suspension. It's written on the Honda Pilot review.
well done Mike, me old mate, your camera is the best i have seen, doing this kind of thing, what kind of camera do you have? man its so much better than what you started out with mate , well done. on this vid, im sure you missed out the engine bay, and if this is the standard model entry model its go a all for the family, you still have not done a SRT Grand Jeep Cherokee for me, i can remember asking you 2years ago, but hey your vids are the best
I'm 6ft tall and can fit in the 3rd row. In Canada, for $26k out the door (including tax, and everything). you get a 7 passenger, 4-cyl FWD Crossover. A dodge grand caravan starts 25k before you add tax, destination, AC charge etc. I've been looking at other 4 cyl 7 seaters, and can't find one as cheap as this.
The Dodge Journey Crossover SUV is a good Crossover and it's alright too... But to be honest the 1 big mistake that Chrysler made is that... They should've put the battery at the left bottom behind of the front bumper. It should've been on top beside the engine instead of the bottom. It would of been much easier to take out if it was on top instead of the bottom left behind of the front bumper... That you don't half to take off the wheel off and the panel behind the bumper to make things harder for people that have the vehicle. I don't know what Chrysler was thinking to do such a foolish way to put the battery there. "Biggest Mistake Chrysler Made".
I like it even though it's 2023 now but the only thing you didn't talk about was gas mileage which I'm quite sure is better than what I'm driving now which is a 2020 Armand I mean this thing swallow gas
When the doors open at a 90 angle it can be a disadvantage when parked beside cars in in small parking lots, my kid keeps hitting the car beside us. Have to be mindful of that.
@@Lion_Rey none of your business.I owe u no explanation.don't u dare try to attack my parenting skills bitch.u don't know the circumstances under which the couple of times it happened so shut the fuck up unless u know full details. In which I did NOT put in this post.
+westernprelude I start on the passenger side so I can work around the vehicle and end up in the divers seat. I am always open to suggestions though...
i had a nissan, then a volks, then renault, now im in love with this car. i will go to pick her (it is a she) to the autodealer tomorrow. i think i have never desired so much a car
Dodge really needs to update this vehicle, or just put it out of its misery. FCA may not even waste the time or effort with a full redesign of the Journey. It was a nice smaller SUV back in 2010, but it hasn't aged well in its segment.
I own a 2016 journey with a v6, sxt traded my 2013 dodge 1500 ram with the 5.7 hemi in it and im here to say I'm pleased. But, found out quickly that you better hang on to the steering wheel when you hit the gas. on freeway it's a little on stable. but it's okay.
Thorough reviews, really enjoy them! Feels like a no pressure walk around of the car, don't have to visit dealers as often with content like this

Thanks for uploading! You did a great job!
Can you reset the dvd display so it works while in motion on a 2015 dodge journey crossroad?
How come the Front Passenger seat does not have the option to lift it?? There is a storage bin under the Front Passenger seat.
Do you think this car is comfortable for a tall person?

Idk if I missed you saying this but does it have a rear camera? For backing up?

good job. I saw a video that showed a compartment under front passenger seat... is that this same model?
does the canada value package have a backup camera?

I can't throw into the tip jar untill next month. Sorry Mike.
does it have dte? 2016
What's the difference between this and the model SE?
This might help: www.dodge.com/model-compare/quick-chart/?modelYearCode=CUD201609
Where is the battery located for the 2016 models?
mastercylinder007 drivers side under fender

So you're just gonna keep letting your kid hit the vehicle's next to yours? Instead of correcting him?

Between this model and the Honda Odyssey 2016 EX, which one would you prefer?
this one all the way, odys are great but they are vans, this one, perhaps some people say, for me its a suv, it depends what are you looking for
Can you add GPS?
One day. I try to buy used 16' Dodge Journey.

+kevin z This one didn't have the camera. I'll try to do a v6 mustang next time I go to Conway Ford.
Esse carro é muito bom, uma pena no Brasil ser tao caro.
Doesn't the crossroad come standard with leather seats?
I think it does now but not when this was filmed in October 2015.

Sells good here
CrazyFastRapper: I curious where "here" is. Somewhere the Journey is considered "cutting edge"....lol?
J High Mich.
its very cheap though.
CrazyFastRapper Probably only in the upper peninsula......lol.
I like this car because it's a 7 seater too but I don't want to have the same car as my uncle. Lol 👻
Can it start from outside using the key?
This vehicle did not have remote start but it is available as an option.
When my car was getting repaired I got the Dodge Journey for rental but it is black
are buttons backlit, show it in the dark.........

Is this car have heated seats?

I agree, it’s a overall nice car , you still have it?
Drive it and then give a report on that. Sitting still and looking at the interior is not as important as the ride and reliability.
