Follow the instructions to the letter and never ever apply to a damp surface. The paving and the sand need to be bone dry. If in doubt It's recommended that quite a few test patches of sand in different places our placed inbetween the paving joints, let it sit for a while to see if new sand turns wet by diging out the sand and having a look before sanding all the paving. Moisture/ dampness and sealer do not get on! If you have residual dampness on the surface it can get trapped under the sealer and white milky patches will be seen! This is when your nightmare will start! The only way to get rid of it will be to chemically strip the polyurethane off. I was told this by resiblock themselves a couple of years ago. Remember- BONE DRY !

    • @aemackintosh

not properly prepping the joints for the sand is a complete failure. It's an inch to an inch and a half cleaning out the joints properly before you resent not just knocking the surface off. This is not going to last and it's not done properly.

Spraying does not give a thorough coverage and does not create a proper seal that will last. Resiblock recommend 2 coats using a roller in order to fully saturate the surface and give the best protection.
