I just bought this exact one for my Wife's JL Sahara. I am also installing the AFE Magnum flow Pro Dry S air intake which should give it a little bit more of an aggressive sound. I personally like to hear the engine with these exhaust "upgrades". I put a K&N "performance" air intake and a Magnaflow catback exhaust on my 2014 JK and like the sound over the stock. Some people want it quiet but some like to hear the engine breath a little more. To each their own I always say.
Excellent and I agree 100%, i like to hear the exhaust but i dont want it to be obnoxious either and i think this is a good in between, i am also planning on the afe intake, they make great products, thanks for checking out the channel and good luck with your installs
I learned a few lessons when swapping mufflers. First is to use anti-seize on the new muffler’s inlet tube being installed. Second is to bend up around the edges of the inlet tube slightly to make it easier to slide on as well. The third is I cannot stand the drone of the aftermarket axle back mufflers or muffler deletes then the stock muffler ends up going back on. I have a 2 door, so that may make a difference in the drone as the exhaust is much closer to the front seats than a 4 door.
It does sound really good, The longer I have had it the more I like it and we have gotten tons of comments when we are out and about on how good it sounds
@christophertumal, yes i am, the longer i have it the more i like it, i get compliments all the time about the way it sounds and more importantly the clearance gained is awesome. Highly recommend
Thanks, yes the factory muffler and tail pipe are quiet heavy, i would estimate it cuts 15 to 20lbs plus you gain departure clearance and gain all the space where the big muffler sat which was huge for me when i installed the lift
Freedom fighter, i really like it, its got power all day and gets good fuel mileage with my full set up including the tent on top and 35’s i still get 17.5 mpg
@@FischerJeepAdventures I’m looking at one now thinking about trading my 2020 tundra in on it I just don’t want the hybrid one I heard some bad things about them
@@freedomfighter6681 understood, personally i really like the turbo 2.0, i test drove both the 2.0 and the 3.6 and the 2.0 i think drove better which, it was faster and more responsive and the gas mileage is way better, my rubicon before i modified it with the stock 33’s i was getting 24 on the highway. My sons jeep is also a 2.0 has 37k on it and not one issue thus far we are both happy
@@freedomfighter6681 no both jeeps are the straight 2.0 turbo not the e torque version, all i have heard about the e torque is it gets you moving real quick with the electric motor assist

Good points, i cant stand the drone from some of the muffler setups it definitely ruins the driving experience
Great video
Thanks!
It sounds great. Thanks for sharing.

Does it pop and crackle like crazy when you turn it off ?
Thanks for the question, no it does not really make any noise when you turn off the jeep
@@FischerJeepAdventures that’s great. The OEM one makes that exhaust cooling sound and sounds bad
Thanks a lot for doing this video. It sounds pretty good. Are you still happy with it?

any gain of speed?
No its more just a sound improvement, being that its a turbo and the exhaust run is so short the main benefit is just the improved exhaust sound
How do you like the 2.0
