- This Slip on vans style shoe was created using sublimation and the TickTock hack for cotton sublimation spray with water and polyurethane. These turned out super cute. I use design space to create my images and my cricket easy press two and my abs and 2760 for sublimation.
Can you do a video on how to take a picture if your template and uploading it to design space
Would have been nice to add the work done in design space
GREAT JOB, THANKS FOR SHARING
Your shoes are Fantastic!! Thanks for tutorial!
Thank you friend this is fun for sure
I really like what you did to those nothing white sneakers. Doing them in about an hour is impressive. It reminded me of some shoes I decorated3/4 of my life ago. Allow me to My first job was in the cough-cough decade.. I really craved money because Tower Records existed. Maybe you know the feeling of riding your bike home with something a ominous and magnificent as All Things Must Pass in a flimsy McGovern back-pack on you back. My first real job was serving meals in a retirement home. The need for good shoes was met by lace-up platform Famolare shoes. There were pure white for the nurse market and they served me well. In my senior year I worked at a gas station/car wash that hired girls to pump gas. I didn't want to ruin my Famolares working on greasy gritty concrete so I ruined them by painting a free-wheeling psychedelic pattern all over them with acrylic paint. They were great. I then dd the leather "saddle" on my metallic green ten-speed, and I was dynamite. I felt like dynamite, anyway. Famolare is back, by the way!
Great video! I'm new to sublimation. I'm taking that the polyurethane is the element used so that the sub ink will adhere to the shoe?
WHAT TEMPERATURE DID YOU USE ?
Using HTV film first would provide a more stable and clear picture also if you quartered your stencils doing one quarter at a time you would probably end up with a more predictable result. You probably would need to make sure you mark the back with alignment crosses .
Do you seal them?
what kind of stamp and ink did you use ?
How to apply on dark color shoes?
I thank you. In Britain we call Butcher Paper, 'Teflon paper' we can get that out £1 shops. In the US it could be called Dollarama?
Hello friend in Britain, I hope you are doing so well. Thank you, I love how they are such little differences but yet so many things are the same.
Do you pray before or after
What was the mixture you used to spray it with?
It’s a spray that helps the sublimation take. You can use it on non-polyester items also. It’s been a while since I’ve made any. Let me see if I can find a video where I made it. It’s been a long time and I will link it in the comments.
I can’t find the video, but I found my card where I wrote the mixture. It’s 2 tablespoons of poly acrylic mixed in 6 ounces of water.
Can I purchase the template?
I’m sorry I just found this on Pinterest not my template to sell.
Can you please post the link for the shoe?
Hello friend, amzn.to/3wd4S8w this link is an affiliate link so please know I do make a small ( lol very small ) commission on purchases
Is the final product durable?
Yes, I got them super wet and had to toss them in washer and they did not fade st all.
@@themostcraftynurse3914 YES. if they have been pressed at 200 degrees Celsius (UK) - 382 Fahrenheit (US) no rain storm or washing machine will go to that temperature to change the image. However, the rubbing in a washing machine will. I suggest hand wash only.
😍🥰
What did you spray on the shoes
The spray is 8oz water to 2tbs polyurethane stir and don’t shake.
What do you spray on them?
