- UPGRADING 1/18 Scale FMS FCX18 Toyota LC80 RC Car with Injora Rims white spoke 1” beadlock wheels with a 3.78mm offset + 62mm x 22mm AT Tires. Straight to the point of how the tires perform in my 1/18 scale mini crawler course, pretty much maxing out the tire size for this truck with-out lifting it higher with longer suspension, it rubs a little when turns fully and under shock compression, it didn’t seem to bother it too bad when I was crawling it would rub a little, but nothing major, a huge improvement over the stock FMS tires, filmed with iPhone 15 in 4K.

What are all the mods you've added that you would recommend? So far I ordered a full metal transmission and injora metal drive shafts. All other gears should already be metal in the latest V2 version.
Thanks it is awesome👍👍 you should be good if you ordered the metal transmission. Your three year old would strip out the low gear if it gets hung up on anything with the plastic gearing. Only upgrades I had done on the truck is the rims and tires which make a huge difference. I bought the stainless steel driveshafts that I am going to add on when I switch my transmission gearing. my low speed gear is stripped and does not crawl at all right now. I still have to order gears or a whole transmission. What transmission case and gear did you order?

Yeah, it is awesome now, such a big improvement in looks and handling. I’m gonna use it for now as is… if I do Dremel it, it would be just the very corner of the fender. The screw that holds the wheel well is right on the same spot😬😄😁
That’s so strange. I run a 64mm tire and it looks wayyyyy smaller than your 62mm. Would you happen to know if the FMS is smaller than the wplc54? And if so by how much I’m very confused lol
The WPLC 54 is a 1/16 scale. The FMSFCX 18 is a 1/18. Yeah, the Land Cruiser is a little bit smaller therefore making them look a little bit bigger. No need to be confused.😁😁😁

What shocks u running still stock or different ones
Thanks for watching😁 still stock shocks adjusted a little bit stiffer on the front, it doesn’t really rub under its own weight. It’s only when I press on it with wheels turned it rubs, leaving it as is for now 👍👍
Are you using foams inside?
