I am looking for good oil shocks for the yellow one. I keep getting the wrong one and they don’t fit.

Are they similar to the TRX4m shocks?, I bought new ones for my defender and was going to try to put the stock ones on the Fj cruiser if they fit.

The rally car was good when I got it. I bought it used for 50 bucks. It only last 10 minutes. After some hard crashes, I think there is some gears broken. It is quite clicky and does not catch fully with all wheel, another RC Needing repairs!

Yeah, lots of fun. Definitely made it further than I thought it would normally get stuck or flips over.

Yes be careful👍 I wouldn’t think anything that is solid and doesn’t break down would be engineered to go down the drain. On jobs engineers have asked if we’ve tested the perimeter drain✅ probably from the same engineers that designed the toilet knockouts😬

So 4” tko won’t get caught on 4x3 toilet 90?

This one in video was dropping into a 4x3 cast in place coming in a 52” concrete beam, furthest condo up the sanitary system. It Had to come out! I’m sure it would make it out if it was dropping down into a straight 4 inch.😀

It’s just a matter of being careful knocking them out, They’re just PVC system 15 toilet flanges, into parkade level, with a fire donut underside of concrete, they have to be the same piping for fire rating✅👍

I use my hole saw to knock them out. Had an apprentice hit the flange and crack it after the water test. Had to replace the flange. Ate out a bunch of the profit from the job.

Could just get them without the knock out and throw a plug in it, seeing as most of the time, it’s only only level that is PVC On most Condos. Costs a bit more to have all of those plugs but better than a chunk of plastic down the pipe or cracked flanges.😬🤬🤬

@@RadDadisRad lmao… channel locks are the best for them. You can pop the disc out perfectly after wacking it a few times with channels. You don’t have to smash it out with a hammer.

Drill tap con to center and tie string around it then use oscillator to cut it out and bam string catches it

The Diecast ones would be pretty cool, but they would weigh a ton. I don’t have a 1/10 crawler yet. I’ve built all of my courses in the yard to fit the little guys, they’re a good size for the kids. They can’t really break anything with them.

I was the one that knocked the knockout out using too blunt of an object it just shot down the drain. at least it was me and not some apprentice that figured it would be OK and just left it.🤬

The electronics are rated as waterproof. I have had the bronco and defender for about a year and no problems yet. Keep it shallow and it should be good. Afterwards I unplugged everything out of the ECM and wash everything out and leave unplugged until dry, not that you have water sitting on your connections. Sandy grit does get into your differentials and wear out your plastic gears a lot faster. I did the rear end but still need to switch out my front end gears, and the the bushing to sealed bearings. The best thing is anything that does wear out can be replaced.😀

I’ve had the defender for a year and the bronco for 10 months and go in the water all the time and no problems with any electronics yet. Just keep it shallow and they should be good 😀👍
