Dear Ellen Producers, Thank you SO much for showing a dance routine where we actually watch the dancing and don't have constant cuts to the audience, to Simon Powell, or to the back stage crew with their faces looking all amazed. Frankly, if I can't figure out what to be amazed at without Len Goodman's expression to guide me, I might as well just watch a sitcom (with a laugh track, of course). I find myself unable to watch the dance and talent shows because they spend so little concentrated camera time on the actual dancers, so this was a real treat.
All that 'but they are siblings!' stuff is *so* inappropriate!! Dancing is their job, they probably have been practicing with each other forever and I guess you can ask dance partners who aren't a romantic couple the same and get the same answer:‘We don't think of each other this way!'
