Great job as i always say do a proper job deep clean the first clean all frames sills ect and makes life easy for future cleans ! curious do you charge extra for the first clean? i normally take it on the chin to get them to standard but im usually there twice as long so have been thinking of charging double so £15.00 job £30.00 then 15.00 moveing forward we use ubik 2000 on the first cleans tends to get the frames sills and stubborn bits off the glass well . ive not tried the pink stuff will definitely try this now thanks for the tip bud 👍

      Thanks, great question…
Yes we would always charge at least 30/40% extra for the first clean to bring the frames and sills up to standard.
Recently we’ve found that customers are less bothered and more price conscious, so we offer both options to the customer for them to decide which works best for them.

If you always do pink stuff on first clean sills it's quicker to do sills first - then you only need to rinse once and you can blast out any pink stuff that goes in the expansion gap! If you are speaking can you lower music track? Cheers

not a bad idea to be fair mate, ive always done it last so I can see what we are working with and then dry the sill, but ill give it a try.
Ohh sorry, I wasn't going to use that clip of me talking then I decided to add it in at the last minute 😳

How do you spray windows off the ground floor?

Sorry for the delay in replying…great question.
I use a pump spray with diluted nonsense degreaser from screwfix.
90% of the time I spray it on to the brush head and then brush it on to the gutter without any water running and repeat the process until I’ve covered the whole area, then turn the water on to wash and rinse.

I don't do any rub out or pink stuff until the customer is known to be a good payer and doesn't try and skip cleans . Don't get me wrong 90% of customers are lovely but you need to make money and I feel like to be doing that on every first clean you would need to charge a hefty premium.

      Thanks for your comment,
I think it depends on a few things...
How busy you are, what your average hourly rate is, what area in the country you are, your business goals and direction you want to go in etc.
For me and my area, its a no brainer...if I can say charge an extra £5/10 for 30 mins of cleaning the ground floor sills and making a better first impression on the customer then its worth it.
Ive gone to quote a few customers for a one off cleans, then after chatting and explaining what we do and how we do it, they end having more work done instead of just the windows and then go on to be regular customers.
