- 🟢I tried to bring together two totally different worlds in a single piece, and the result exceeds my expectations.
Everything is brought together in this piece, from traditional woodturning to the use of epoxy resin and the creation of an intricate pattern.
Not forgetting the texturing of the bowl and the ceruse technique combined with a varnished finish to great effect.
A very interesting video that opens the doors to a new world of immense possibilities.

J'ai essayé de réunir deux mondes totalement différents en une seule pièce, et le résultat dépasse mes attentes.
Tout est réuni dans cette pièce, du tournage traditionnel sur bois à l'utilisation de résine époxy et à la création d'un motif complexe.
Sans oublier la texturation du bol et la technique de la céruse combinée à une finition vernie du plus bel effet.
Une vidéo très intéressante qui ouvre les portes d'un nouveau monde aux possibilités immenses.

For all the time and tedious, little, repetitive parts involved in just getting it to the point where you filled in the epoxy, prior to carving out the inside, I can tell that this particular project would have to be a labor of love.
I've never used a lathe or tried to do anything remotely like this gorgeous bowl, but I can tell that it requires patience FAR beyond anything I'll ever possess in my life.
Great job.
It's excellent work, and even better craftsmanship.

I just have to say, your lathe is awesome. The fact that you can adjust where the motor is to make it point out towards you must be super helpful.

I saw another wood turner use a tool that cut bowls . You could have had some smaller plain bowls out of that pretty wood by using that . Just a thought. Beautiful piece!
