Awesome info. I signed up for RWPDR last weekend. What a wealth of information! Best $65 a month I've ever spent, a bargain at twice the price. Can't wait for the one on one seminars at your shop!
I have no job and I can't afford the tools. They are very expensive here in Portugal but one day I will be able to get them and I will follow your steps and advises thanks for the lessons God bless you
Nice way to jump start tools for the beginner, plus needs to watch and sign-up for your online training. Need practice panels and with those tools press away.
Thank you so much for your video, I emailed you that I wanted to start your course . I had asked what tools to buy ...this answers it all I'm gonna buy these things right away
Just about got my stuff together to get back to the lesson plan. Did get my elimadent 6 row light .Just gotta pick up my hood. Holidays wrecked me 😭 . JIM i never did get that. I got 2 double bend screw tip type rods 33 and 46" Great Video! keep them coming Brother.
@@RealWorldPDRTraining Jim it's all good my Man, you got me off my ass and motivated. I'm going to nail this stuff it's just been slow getting my gear together. I appreciate what youve done already. Thanks Again Jim , you the Man.
Fabulous video bro just what I was looking for I going to take one month subscription to see if I can learn faster an the right way see you bro an great job 👍maistro
Lol thanks Man! Ya know, just like everyone I’ve always hated my voice. It still blows my mind that people like it 🤣. If you watch some of the early content you can tell I was trying to hide my voice lol
3 questions about the light recommend appreciate your time thank you comes in 14" or 20" which one would be better also the light come in options from cool white and warm white and a mixture of both Last question about light I promise lol how many strips 3 ,4 , 5 ,9 ? I'm so confused
Hey had a few questions...just finished the 101 course on your website. One of the lessons deals with a slide hammer wich do you recommend I buy? Also when covid 19 blows over will you guys have in person classes or work shops? I'm in NY but I'll travel for a chance to learn hands on. Last question can glue tabs be reused?
It’s so crazy the tools are literally metal rods bent in certain places, yet they charge hundreds of dollars?I think I’m gonna make my own. It’s kind of like a shirt versus a polo shirt you can pay $125 for the polo I guess if you want. (Or some cheesy yeezys Yes I understand these are professional tools so I get it if you’re making tons of money you might as well get something that will last you.
@@kyplummer3657 glad you like. But for real, I keep some handmade tools I made in the beginning of my career around. Don’t use them, but it’s nice to look back and remember. So don’t be shy dig in! We used torsion bars from trunks a lot (back when that was a thing). They aren’t ideal but the freakin work if you’ve got a torch and a grinder.
@@RealWorldPDRTraining I was looking for things to use and I came across some arrow head practice tips that I think will work good for some applications and I can dress the tips up in different ways even change them out I don’t know if it’s going to work yet.
@@RealWorldPDRTraining nope mate. Most them you covered are better and cheaper alternatives for pricey products. Better would be see good/high quality tools for less money for starters. I would buy some of them to practice on my cars. And maybe if I will be able to do fix dents properly I would buy other tools.
Jim. Very true video. What’s it matter if you have all the cool tools and you can’t even push all types of dents. Thanks Jim

Very good advice Jim ! I always enjoy your videos 👍
even though this was a free video, I would have liked to see this in the PDR 101 course. Thanks!!
Thank you so much for the suggestion. That’s an oversight I can’t believe I made
It is in the content on Pdr monthly, but it would be better for you guys to get an idea before moving on.
Groovy starter kit learned stuff I didn't know!!
Anyway to please post a link to the rod you showed
Sound advice for sure... Repetitions are the most important “tools” in the beginning 😉
Hi! Can I finish small dent with just one bullet tip?? Or I need something sharper at the end? I'm learning👍

Any chance of confirming the part number of that rod (#4), the one on their website looks a LOT sharper of a point.
Very well may be. That was an older tool. I’ll update it if I find out otherwise.
Any half inch tool about that long will work.
I am having the same issue finding the one
I bought my rod from elimadent 1/2 36in length bullet tip at a 45

Hi, l am interested in training, where to start?
Where in Indiana are you?
My shop is located in Lafayette
Keco has the mini lifter and tabs for 200
Really when we priced them out it was 130 for the lifter and 30 for the tabs?
@@RealWorldPDRTraining they are 200 you get the precision base and 24 tabs
@@RealWorldPDRTraining tried to screen shot and post but don't know how
Hell even better.
Man those things are a bargain.
I, actually took a dent out with a shovel handle 😜
Super advice!
