Man your way to explain and teach others your job it’s amazing, I can’t skip 1sec from your videos ❤️ I just feel like I’m in front of you. Thanks a lot for what you doing. Romanian guy from 🇬🇧👏👋
Learned PDR since the 90s, stopped for a while and back in 2010, and always some surprise in the field ! Hail is a lot of work, but it is fun to do it.
I just love your way of doing that job, I starting know about PDR now, and with your help I'm getting passionate. I hope meet you and learn more from yours skills personally .
Very through and informative. thinking about getting into this field as i have been in the plumbing and electrical field for 25yrs. need another toy to play with as things are getting tight here in the Atlanta area, however its never to late to pick up a great skill set.
Thanks Mike, what a master class, i´ve been studying Online Pdr and im about to buy at this point the tools, this video help me a lot. You, devarilleros and autoelite make my professional life better and im glad to find my porpuse in life.❤
Great content Mike, I have been interested in learning this trade for a while. I will be checking out the course and thanks for taking the time to teach the learned techniques from 30+ yrs.
What are the chances that this morning I decide to relearn PDR, to add it to my detailing business, and then I stumble on a professional who teaches in a way that actually works for me? Thank you for the video, I'll have to look into the classes and the rest of your channel!
It’s always about the framework and foundation how you learn. Without those two things any business fails. Thanks for the comment. I’m sure you’ll find denttrainer.com to be very helpful in your PDR journey.
You need a shopify store😅 a DT package and im sure ordering repackaging packing and shipping can be handled by a 3rd party. The manufacturers would probably Love to help out with a starter pack and if their name is on it they can also write some of it off as advertising costs. 😊 your on social media now. Online sales are part of it and a great way to make those courses free or at least pay for themselves at a steep discount. Dont dismiss the idea keep it on a post it for future!
Muy bien video. Hace poquito hice un curso PDR y estoy practicando. Me faltan conseguir algunas herramientas. Estoy en Argentina y no se consiguen. Hacerlas mandar de usa o china es muy caro. De a poco voy mejorando Gracias por explicar y mostrar todo con tanta claridad. Siempre miro tus videos Mike Abrazo
hey Mike, could you recomend the tools dedicated to fix professionaly hail demage for beginner, I want to specialize in hail demage repair, could you share some of the best tools, thank you!!!
I like the idea of learning how to do this properly but i just checked prices of some of these tools. $700au for a light, Average over $100au for any of the bars.. It prices me out of wanting to do this.. I think i might try and make them myself.. Having said that, I do like watching how you go about your work. Cheers
Yeah, I forgot to cut that part out but you didn’t miss anything because that part was supposed to be removed. Sorry I was editing it the very next day late at night because it bothered me so bad that the live version really didn’t come out well. But thanks for noticing and letting me know.
I would love you to explane more about your training eg personal sounds like you teach face to face but do you do vid link ups for people to far away to come to your shop.
How about tool suppliers in Europe? TH-cam is VERY international, so, if you have any information about tool suppliers in Europe, at least some in your audience will find it very useful. You have a bit of a different style than some folks, but you really do just 'pop in' some great tips!
Hi Mike; Great video. I want to learn about PDR and will check your courses Online, also, wondering if you could share the aprox. (usd) investment to buy basic tools?. Greetings from Monterrey México.
Hello Mike,! I really like your videos, I watch your videos a lot. You have a lot of tools, different companies, can you tell me or comment on the B&D tools tool. If possible, then weaknesses and strengths, please. I am grateful to you in advance.
So i want to avoid amazon because theres too much flex in the type of steel they used compared to name brand, but these whale tails are fine with being bent every which way without losing any torque? Would help if you actually talked about the types of material used in these tools and why they matter.
With all honesty, all the tools made from A1 are terrific. Just make sure you know how to properly use the tools for the right applications. Best of luck to you. 😉
(English) Thank you for watching and for your suggestion. I appreciate the support of our Spanish-speaking community. We did do a live video like this in Spanish but unfortunately, the video feed was not good. We are working on redoing that video and making it available for the Latino community to enjoy. In the meantime, here is the link to the previous live video where the audio is good and you can still learn from it (th-cam.com/video/_iKE28LozmQ/w-d-xo.html). Thank you again for your support.

Looks can be deceiving, my friend. Just because it appears to be a lot of tools, doesn’t mean it is. I only mentioned five main tools, but as they say, “a true craftsman knows the value of accessories.” Thanks for watching 😉

Do you recommend a standard thickness whale tail or ultra thin??
Depends how tight the location I’m dealing with. The tighter the more smaller the diameter.

I want to know more about learning from you

What type of steel are the tools? Stainless, high carbon drill rod?
Mainly stainless and carbon

Paintless dent repair is an amazing job, but the right tools for the job are important
So i want to avoid amazon because theres too much flex in the type of steel they used compared to name brand, but these whale tails are fine with being bent every which way without losing any torque? Would help if you actually talked about the types of material used in these tools and why they matter.
I have more videos coming out but some are made out of carbon steel and heat treated steel. While others are forged steel.
Could anyone let me know if the kit from dentless touch (made by A1) is any good?!
With all honesty, all the tools made from A1 are terrific. Just make sure you know how to properly use the tools for the right applications. Best of luck to you. 😉
