    I enjoyed watching this video cause you actually taught me how to change stock muffler on my 50cc 4stroke to a racing muffler easily...I hope u do more videos of how to upgrade full 50cc 4stroke moped to racing. Thanks alot for helping me

      Thanks man and you could easily rebuild the top end for a big bore kit if you want alittle extra power it's not to difficult just gotta take your time

      I have long block 50cc...got 47mm kit and did around 1600 miles in 4 months since i bought it with 5000 miles on the clock...it has two gross yelow tractor 25/25w bukbs...do you know where can i get like led or xenon to replace it? i got 35/35w but it can't power it up....also those hamd protectors are really cool...keep it up

    • @RspecNick

      Zodiark-1993 the leds lights are hit and miss honestly it depends on the housing there in I couldn't find any for mine except for the small 194 bulbs in the cluster and running lights but nice man I jumped mine up to a 80cc and the engine didn't like it much it ran for like 450 miles and then the rod actually snapped and went threw the case that's when I 150 swapped it and well hands down that woke it up big time but thank you hopefully you build your scooter up to what you really any out of it

      It's a more free flow design allows the engine to breathe easier

    Question .. the end that you screw into the scooter, is that a generic size? And what should I look for when looking for a muffler for my gy6? Besides 50cc?
    Any help is much appreciated man

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The bolt caps for the head of the motor to fasten the header to the head are 10mm. But the bolts holding the muffler to the header I forget that size there's alot of different types butttttttt some have terrible fitment just keep that in mind.

    i bought this but my moped doesn’t have the thing to screw the clamp into can i still use this?

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You kind of need the clamp portion at the end. Without it there the exhaust will probably crack and fall off. Do you mean it will just be supported by the engine bolts ?

  • @pieraldi2

    shouldnt you jet the engine too??

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the jetting needs it. this engine was already running on more fuel then it should have been so it evened out good

      Just type in 50cc gy6 performance muffler and it will pull up alot eBay has alot as well this one was like 60 dollars and it was a direct fit.

    • @alexkirby4828
      @alexkirby4828 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I've been trying to find one that I won't have to weld on or do any other really complex shit to make it fit. Did you notice performance increase as well after the install?

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alex Kirby I did notice it was more responsive throttle wise but whenever you drop a muffler on you need to rejet the carb as well so it might have just been the rejetted carb more then anything this muffler had the removable baffle which made the sound change alittle if it was out
