    This is really straightforward on my MPC4000 as a new user of the SE and One Plus sad to hear this. Great tutorials BTW

      Thank you! Oh really? I had no idea. That is wild! That the old machines got it right but that they made such weird decisions with the new ones. Yeah, it's been like this for a while, so I'm assuming this is the way they want it which is so strange to me but anyway...enjoy the new machines 🙌

    Thanks Akai needs to work on this an midi in standalone too instead of havin to use the vst all the time

    It would be so much nicer to be able to import a MIDI file directly into the current track. But that wouldn't be user-hostile enough for Akai. Their designers are on their own strange planet.

      Yeah, that would have been the intuitive or logical way to go about it. Strange choice indeed. Haha.
