Hey man, I’m extremely humbled by this message and thank you so much for taking the time to share this with me. This really hits deep specially you coming from your knowledge on the MPC workflow. Nothing but love and blessings to you, brother. 🫡
Whoa. What you’ve shown here gives the MPC stems more value. Though I’m still waiting for the standalone version, this is a gem. Thank you as always Malo!
Hey brother, thank you so much for taking the time and sharing your feedback. Absolutely, I’m waiting for it in standalone and can’t wait. It has lots of hidden gems within separation being built into the software itself, so it truly is going to be a lot of fun once you get your hands on it and stand alone.
Great points about not stripping everything down. Some of these records have great mixes between the Bass and other sections that do not sound as good when completely separated. Thanks for sharing! Salute!
Hey man, absolutely and it’s a hit or miss at times with this, but being able to strip down a small chop out of my PGM make such a big difference and keeps the original mix from the record I sampled. Thank you for taking the time.
Brother!!! This means the world, thank you so much for the support and also taking the time to share this here with us. Let’s stay connected through email or any other social platform. Please let me know if you have any questions along the way. Let’s go🤜🏼🤛🏼
What a creative way to use stems! Great lesson bro! Thank a bunch! Incorporating stems into my workflow has me turning on controller mode but still using my MPC as if it were in standalone because I don’t look at the computer screen. I love its seamless functionality.
Exactly, so many people always mention about third-party plug-ins that already do this lol but the integration with having it built in the middle of your workflow is what takes me 100%
I didn't know how to feel about stems at first as i love the old school methods filtering micro chops ect and i felt stems might take something away from that but its actually dope af
We can count on you Malo for showing great techniques on the MPC. This video is needed and greatly appreciated. I can't wait to try out my Stems. Thanks Malo...much respect!!!
Besides being a great mentor, honestly, the sample selection and beats always hit. Definitely a solid beat maker. Need a Malo tape of all the songs made in videos 🦚🤘
I copped the stems but I still haven't quite figured out how to use it so if I really need a stem I use Rip X but I think this method might actually work for me.
Thats super DOPE Bro. Didnt think about doing it per pad yet. If we could stem seperate and chop it to 16 pads that way instead of individualy would be SICK. Maybe that overkill but that would be dope. Great vid as always! Thank you.🙏🏾
I'm new to mpc and just picked up a mpc one, are you using the mpc as a controller for the software here as separation only available on software? can you use it as a controller like that for software is what I'm wondering.
Hey! Love your content. I'm new to the MPC and i have a major issue that I can't seem to find a solution for: the actual file management (erasing a project with all its associated files is difficult, erasing a track and all its resources within a project too). What's the best way to avoid having files all over the place?
I wish you could stem separate an entire program though, rather than having to go through all individuals pads (I know that if you could do it first before assigning them to pds, but what if you forgot, of want to use it stems on songs that you created before that feature existed)
It is still coming for stand alone ? I thought it would be to heavy for it , since the proccessing on a computer takes a while. I realy hope it comes , i get it right away ifso
I don't even have stems and I'm completely on here on accident while updating my firmware. Crazy shit is I was JUST doing like a loop beat and I got this vocal part for the hook but the vocals loud as shit and I was just looking like "damn I love the vocal melody I just wish there was a way I could turn the shit down"
I didn’t use it yet because I didn’t know the proper way to do this I was trying to chop then take stem out of all chops at one time I see I gotta stem pads after chop
Dude, 🔥🔥100% on this. I’m so glad I gave it a chance since I used to be against it and never wanted to crack it open but ever since I got my hands on it it’s so worth it and so much more flexibility.
I was just checking out stem separation on the software for the first time. It's pretty cool, but yeah I see what you're talking about with sometimes the separation algorithm gets a little too happy and ruins the stems with too much volume shifting. I can't wait for it to come to stand alone. Pretty crazy to think of how versatile these modern npc's are now. After a few updates they are just leading the pack now for samplers. None of the other samplers can do half of what they can.

Your MPC one videos are top tier
Thank you so much for this. Really means a lot

I bought your MPC Masterclass today. Really well done course. Thank you!

Computer and MPC is not at the same location in the studio, so im just waiting for Akai to deliver what they promised their community.
Agreed
Same here
For real. The way they spoke about it left many assuming stand-alone was also releasing in March….yet here we are
So is it all everyone hopes for 😅😊
@@blkgostnone4092 I have seen a few studio pictures, where the MPC is placed on the central studio desk with the main DAW.
Big benefit to having stem separation integrated into the MPC software 🤙🏻 sick video as always!!!

Man watching your videos helped me figure out things on my mpc one plus thanks
Hey brother, thank you so much for taking the time to share this 🙏🙏🙏
I always felt the stem separators left the samples a bit soulless. Artifacts makes sense
Often, yes. But the option to remove bits is always nice to have.
I didn't know how to feel about stems at first as i love the old school methods filtering micro chops ect and i felt stems might take something away from that but its actually dope af
That chop was beautiful! 💯💯🔥🔥 Masterpiece
This is beautiful. 👏🏾
A very useful simple tip, MPC stem on just a pad. Akai did it, and you explain it ! Thanks !
We can count on you Malo for showing great techniques on the MPC. This video is needed and greatly appreciated. I can't wait to try out my Stems. Thanks Malo...much respect!!!
GREAT TUTORIAL BRO!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!🙏🏾🫡
Didnt realise it was by pad basis! Awesome skills
Hey Malo. Will you please do a tutorial on the Arturia Keystep 37 with MPC one..That would be so sweet.
the first pad with the sample chops comming in(nh) made me just spazz out on that part of the vid hahahahha
Solo se puede en el MPC ONE o también en el software?? Tengo la MPC estudio
Saludos gracias
You got great skills on the beats bro
Nice job bro!
As always, useful information. Thanks 👌
Besides being a great mentor, honestly, the sample selection and beats always hit. Definitely a solid beat maker. Need a Malo tape of all the songs made in videos 🦚🤘
Nice video bro I didn’t even think to use Stems in that way 💪👍.
Another great video!
Very cool!! Thanks!!
🫡very helpful...thanks Malo 👊
Love the videos! The stem separation button is not there for me. Is there a new way to do it or can the MPC not separate some songs from vinyl?
@@lonewolf9790 Have you actually purchased Stems? You have to buy it as an additional extra.
Great video once again
MY MAN MALO APPRECIATE THE KNOWLEDGE BRO.
Thanks again brother 🫡🙏🏻
YO!!! Thank you Carbon this means a lot for you to drop buy 🙏🏽
I copped the stems but I still haven't quite figured out how to use it so if I really need a stem I use Rip X but I think this method might actually work for me.
@malobeats Where you get your hats and Tshirts from?
Thats super DOPE Bro. Didnt think about doing it per pad yet. If we could stem seperate and chop it to 16 pads that way instead of individualy would be SICK. Maybe that overkill but that would be dope. Great vid as always! Thank you.🙏🏾
You can chop first then separate and the chops will be on the separation
Is there a way to install stem separation on my MPC live to retro via USB?
would the MPC One course work for the MPC Live 2?
I really like your channel. Is it safe that stem separation will come to the hardware as well?
I'm new to mpc and just picked up a mpc one, are you using the mpc as a controller for the software here as separation only available on software? can you use it as a controller like that

Do we have a release date for standalone ?

Fire chops damn some head nod 💩 Malo you the man thank you for the heads up 👍👍👍👍🤯
Noté que hablas al menos algo de español! Buen canal y buen trabajo!

Nice tutorial bro
el curso tiene subtitulos en español?
standalone stems crazzyyyyy
It is still coming for stand alone ? I thought it would be to heavy for it , since the proccessing on a computer takes a while. I realy hope it comes , i get it right away ifso
Yes, as far as I’m concerned. 🤙🏽
That is the bomb! Damn.
Very
My samples stems have some artifacts how do I fix it?
Getting intrested!!
Very
I'm waiting for the standalone version

Yo!! Omg I feel like I was the only one that ran in to this hahah, yes, being able to just lower specific elements of the mix is so key.
I didn’t use it yet because I didn’t know the proper way to do this I was trying to chop then take stem out of all chops at one time I see I gotta stem pads after chop
What genre of music is that?
OHHHH MYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The software is so my fun it’s a whole lot more you can do with the software than you can do in stand alone
Dude, 🔥🔥100% on this. I’m so glad I gave it a chance since I used to be against it and never wanted to crack it open but ever since I got my hands on it it’s so worth it and so much more flexibility.
How is this not the same as a eq?
standalone stems release on Nevuary 29th, 3000
😂 Makes me wonder why he said , very soon ? Fingers crossed 🤞
lol hahahaha that’s how it feels. I hope it’s sooner than later 🙏
I'm waiting also...damnn...just feels like AKAI could be incentive to force us on to the software...hope not.
Just dropped
Que Bueno!!!!
Is it hooked up to your computer or is it hooked up by ethernet cable?
Whens it coming to standalone
Haven’t had any update on this yet but I hope sooner than latter 🙏

Thought you was about to freestyle rap💪🏽😁
Hahahahaha bro, I’m not too far from spitting vers finally. Haha
@@malobeats hey I’m in Vegas I’ll track you 😁💪🏽 🎤
You just have to sit down and take the time to use it and learn the software you can’t learn something you have if you don’t put it to use
You could not have said it any better. 🫡
maybe you could show the average Mac user how to go about activating and using this feature. thanks
Hot damn 😎
🎉🎉🎉

Rest than what tho? Serato has better stem sepraration. FL has one, not to mention all the third party separators 😂
Kendrick Lamar replied
Uh. ........ I need stand alone please. Ill wait.
I was on the brink of selling my one plus because I’m so used to my daw. This vid made me decide to keep it. Akai, sponsor this man 🫡
