    Hey man, I cant give you enough credit for how good this video is. Great commentary matched by superb editing makes this type of thing a really exciting watch. Just getting into iRacing this weekend and watching this video was truly an informative blast. Love the style, love the gameplay. Truly a great watch. Enjoy my sub brother, and ill definitely be keeping my eye out for future videos, as well as diving into your other ones.

    Hey Ben. You're video production quality has gotten really good. Excellent to see.
    I've raced a lot as Sebring, but it's always been a bit of an albatross of a track for me. Despite that my two races so far this week have gone great. First race I started third and finishing second, which is my best ever race at Sebring. Second race I started second last after pushing a little to hard on both qualifying laps and getting a 1x on each of them. I still managed to get a positive iRating and had 0x for the race. Plus I had plenty of great battles coming through the field to get into the positive iRating. This is the type of racing that makes me love iRacing.

    Good run there Ben, Sebring is a favorite track of mine, love the rough surface adds to the realism of it all. Just as a comment, slowing down on the start to a slow pace is a well used tactic in real racing. It is the responsibility of the rest of the drivers to match the pole driver's pace and line up properly.. Thanks for sharing w us!!

    Great video mate. Hot tips for the macca, shift when the lights are all blue, it has really good low-down torque, revving it out is losing you a tiny bit of time. T2-4 take in 3rd gear, you can carry more apex speed than you are :)
    T3 you can also cut a fair bit that will help widen T4 up.

    Even considering all the carnage, this still turned out to be a cracking race! That was some great mid pack battling between you and the others. My strategy for Sebring is not so much trying to pass people cause there really are not that many spots to overtake but rather I put pressure on drivers and wait for under pressure mistakes. So far, have done 4 races on Sebring this week and averaged all top 10 finishes just by staying clean and out of carnage. Good race Ben!

    • @Ben_LaBroca
      @Ben_LaBroca  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Very solid strategy Jim! And it’s true that there’s really not many places to mount a pass. To get one done you’ve got to be quite aggressive and able to follow closely to line an opportunity up - and that comes with risks!

      I tend to agree actually buddy. The only reason incidents tend to happen in the splits I’m in is the pack is so well matched and running closely together - any mistake can escalate pretty quickly! But it doesn’t tend to be outrageous driving that causes it.

    I'm gonna be real for a sec. Backing up the pack like that should be severely punished. It ALWAYS ends up fucking up the back runners at basically every skill level. It ruins a huge number of races.

    • @Ben_LaBroca
      @Ben_LaBroca  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah I think you’ve got to be mindful of that for sure if you’re at the front. It becomes increasingly hard to judge if you’re in the middle or back of the pack when everything is bunched together. Even saw it in the F1 at Mugello a couple of years back!

    always report pole drivers who slow down below pace speed, its ridiculous that these people are not even doing much to help their own race as their closeset competitors can easily adjust to what they're doing, and ruining the race for the mid and back pack. I couldnt see if that was the case here in the replay ben showed, but if it happens in your race report it as it is against the code.
