Irish dancing is never called 'tap' in Ireland., as it isn't tap dancing. Google source: Tap dance is an indigenous American dance genre that evolved over a period of some three hundred years. Initially a fusion of British and West African musical and step-dance traditions in America, tap emerged in the southern United States in the 1700s. also - Irish dancing isn't really that similar to tap dancing either, being much more disciplined and energetic, and with more complicated steps and movements.
Yep, that’s how my son started dancing. He was really young and his aunt which is Irish and so is he took him to tap dance lessons and man that boy can dance
No, they're not, but others have thought the same thing. Although in one of the earlier videos it was stated there was 2 years between them. Then in another video there was a 3 year age difference and now 4 years. At this point who knows. Have a great day. 😊😊😊
YOU TWO ARE AMAZING!!! your timing blows me away!! And your steps and music choices add so much variety. Thank you for the fun I experience just watching you. You always bring a smile to my face and a bounce to my step. And at 80 years having a bounce in your step is special no matter that it may only last a few minutes after watching your fantastic moves.
Well I be darn! How'd I miss them!? These guys are now, so it appears to be, the epitome of kewl dancing!! Thanks for bringing the joy and fun entertainment!🕺🏽🕺🏽🔥🔥💯❤
These guys are just AMAZING! What great talents and I LOVE how they show they're having such a good time while they're dancing! I discovered their dancing in the shorts and have followed them ever since. Congratulations, guys! Love that you've got some American in that Irish blood! LOL!

It is so nice to see some entertainers who bathe regularly, don’t use bad language around children, and don’t seem to act like the world owes them a living.
"American born" might be technically true but those lads are as Irish as it gets. More Irish than eating tayto sandwiches in front of Bosco without a television licence.
Not correct. The shoes are called hard shoes with a hard, thick heavy plastic like "tap" on the sole under the toe box and heel as opposed to the soft gheillies that look almost like soft leather ballet slippers. I'm a former step dancer and still have both style of shoes. They're each used for a different style of Irish step dancing. @@FlorenceJohnson-z8c

They are Americans who have taken their Irish roots to a whole new level. They are from Denver, Colorado.
Lucky Denver!!!
@karenmurphy6028 Very Lucky! Now we get to promote them when Aer Lingus starts flying 3 days per week direct flights Dublin to Denver on 20 May 2024.
They were born in CO but grew up in Ireland
@melodyszadkowski5256 aye, they were finished being raised in Ireland. They spent a good time in Denver, too.
They went to the same Irish dance school that my daughter did. Wick

So Irish American then like they said
It's not Irish tap dancing, it's just Irish dancing
Tap dancing to be sure. Taps are at the bottom of the shoes. Real Irish steps dancing includes no taps on shoe's
CORRECT!
Correct!@@cynthiaknight-brownell7976
