yes, luckily the boiler has rotated on the front frame, the train is made up of 3,557 blocks, 216 bearings and 5,506 parts, I have thoroughly studied every single photo of this train to recreate almost all the details as accurately as possible, the system that it drives the wheels it's called "walschaerts valve gear system" v.2.0 built by me, driven by 5 pistons each, in total big boy uses 20 pistons to move;
I'm glad you liked it, I'm already working on other epic creations
can u make a super detailed bullet train mixed with a steam train thx
Hi
Have you made it realistically? Are the wheels still 180° out of phase instead of 90°?
On this version of the walschaerts system the wheels actualy work better at 90°, so yes
You should build a fef-3 next
The Big Boy in real life is actually legit massive, the largest steam engines there are
Also did you confuse ET for the little trash robot, WALL-E?
the biggest steam engine is in the netherlands and it's a water pump, the big boy is just the biggest locomotive
Correct
@@KaneyoriHK look, youngsters… ok?
I like trains
I bless this comment to be #1
NOOOOOOOOO
WE like trains*
Nyoooooom
7:53 "Somebody say oil?" "Nah, I heard oil! THAT SHIT MINE!"
fun fact the arrow plane/spaceship u flew was from a game called star citizen
8:01 that ship is the Anvil Arrow from Star Citizen
Big Boy is always impressive.
The big boy (the Union Pacific 4014) is literally so fucking long they had to articulate the front set of wheels
They basically learned their lesson from the older 9000 class locomotives. A 2-12-2 doesn't do so well around turns.
The big boy is 100% accurate the only thing missing is the steam
Dpp theres a mod on fire phyiscs its called The Modpack BETA it was made before survival
Big Boy is the largest type of steam locomotive ever built I THINK
thats waht she said
@@daanhu2477 WHAT💀💀
no just jocking i wanted tho use that joke for a wille
7:27 anyone else got deja vu here lol
The craters were really deep during world war 1 if the Mk-1 - 5 tanks drove in there the crew will ditch out the wheels where used to cross trenches
Edit: the Mark-1 tank had such thin armor riffle rounds of the Germans could go threw which caused hell to the crew inside on the first tank attack
to the Germans
That first person was so cursed
The big boy is an articulated steam locomotive.
Union Pacific big boy! My favorite!
9:20 wow thats me than you pixel
the wheel at the back war to drive out out the treches
yes
they should make the PRR T1 next
Suggestion: add a sea mode and survival mode like John the survival server ect.
Nice video my friend
22 sec 🤔
I bet in fwe seconds comments will be like 'cool vid' aven tho they didn't even have time to watch the video
You were right
Choo choo
oo Wong game no Minecraft here son!
He should go seee the modpack mod there is so much useful logic in it
1:52 if you are intrestead in fire physics and steam engines you can try stormworks but be aware building engines and stuff in that game might be complicated for begginers for my 1 year of playing it i can say that is pretty hard for begginers
Edit: it can get very laggy very fast
haha boat game
@@bobjonesisthebestastro is not an boat game you can also make structures, cars ,planes, submarines, helicopters
Stormworks=Bugworks
You should make a chaos mod for scrap mechanic
Nice
Its like a command block
how did you select 1 month (lol)
Just change the URL
awsome
Yeet!😂
Hehe, never gonna give you up!
Never gonna let you down never gonna run around and desert you never gonna make you cry never gonna say goodbye never gonna make you cry and hurt you.
why is adam not playing
Dpp i need to ask you something
Just because it's the biggest doesn't mean its the best. In scrap mechanic, it does seem very complex, so complex infact mechanical details probably had to be left out for lag and space. The thing I hate most about it (Though I do like it very much) is the number. It's very unoriginal, though its the only actual left running. 4014 is very overrated, or as people in the train call it "Foamed," basically meaning some people who see it would foam in the mouth as a joke, though most people do hate those kind alot. 4000, the actual official name of the locomotive's class, 4000 Class, would of been much better in my opinion.
I can't understand what you mean by "mechanical details probably had to be left out for lag and space"?, because the most important one is there and it works without the use of electric or diesel motors but only pistons and some sensors; also, i don't really care about lag in my bigger builds i do (i only care if i have 10/15 fps in ph1) and in this train there should still be some space available to be able to add more details, mechanical or not
@@Redstonista Specifically the valve gear, the things that make it move. Considering it's walschaerts, one of the more complex valve gear systems, there's seems to be a few rods missing around the cylinders.
@@Sleeper____1472 I can confirm that a rod around the cylinder is missing, as I have built the system works anyway, ľ upper rod depending on the position activates a sensor that extends or retracts the underlying pistons to simulate the movement of steam in the cylinders, I tried in the past to put that rod, but it caused me more problems than not having it, however you can also see in the video, when DPP activates the switch near the window at the top right the train starts to move only thanks to the total 20 pistons they make moving the walschaerts system (albeit slowly due to the weight of the locomotive), I admit that there are some trusters in the coal wagon, but they are almost totally detached from the connection system (they are only attached to logic gates to activate the right truters to go forwards or backwards) and are only activated by a button that must be kept pressed (the trusters are placed to help the locomotive to start in ph1 because of the bearings that greatly limit the force that is transmitted from the pistons to the wheels), in case you still don't want to believe me that the system really works, you can always download the big boy and try it yourself; you can check the list of used parts and you will see that there is no electric or diesel motor to make everything move, you can also eliminate the trusters in the coal wagon (even detaching it completely so as to lighten the locomotive) and pressing the switch will make it move anyway ( the switch below is used to reverse) and lastly, you can also remove the side part of the casing that holds the pistons to see inside the movement of the pistons and the rod that activates the sensor
Make steam engine mod
lag thats why we cant have nice tings
true
they shut make the fisics engine more like irl it never laggs or like have somting like optifine for minecraft like making it possible tho like get like 50%less lag wen u turn off the tings that lagg u like particals and stuf water flowing water lava drping particals block rendering and stuf
First but its not actually true
