Really a good looking hat and very easy and understanding to follow. Thank you for a great tutorial. Looking forward to making hats in different colors.
So in your video you went from round 13 to round 16! The written instructions for round 14 are so confusing, I don’t really know what I should be doing. Can you clarify??
Hi Kathy, thanks for watching my video 🥰. Sorry I made you confuse 😞. It depends how big is the size of your head circumference. This hat is small size to medium 21 inches head circumference. You may add more rounds with increase for bigger size or decrease no.of rounds for smaller size.
Can you please mention the measurement of the hat when you are done with the last puff stitch row? I am on row 12, but hat looks small and not ready for single stitch rows. Thank you.
@@nylaahmed3346 Oh noh, so sorry about that 😞, in that case you have to go back to the increasing round (I know that sounds crazy to redo it 😞). You have to increase more puffs. Then try to measure the circumference of your work after increasing one round (add more if still small). The size must be bigger than your actual head circumference, as you will adjust it later when you decrease the sc stitching on the finishing rounds. The measurement of my hat circumference after puffs are done is around 23 inches. But since my head circumference is just 20.5-21 inches, I have to adjust it by single crochet stitch decreasing. Thank you so much for watching my video. Enjoy crocheting 🥰.
Hi Manou, thank you so much for visiting my channel 💕. You are welcome. I just wrote down the written pattern in the description box after I read your comment. Please check the description box. Please feel free to ask question ☺️.
Hi Annalisa. Thank you for visiting to my channel 🥰. Every round on the puff rows I am not putting a ch1 to avoid having a seam which is very visible, i sl st instead in the first st on the first/beginning puff stitch of the row on top. And then When you start again the next round just pull the yarn loosely and start the first puff st 1 space backward instead of forward. I hope you understand my explaination 😁. Please let me know if you get it, ill be happy to explain more ☺️ 💕.

I am still learning how to crochet. I'm have a 4oz yarn, what two needles would I use to make this pattern? Also, in your opinion will the hat be too chunky using a 4oz yarn?
Hi Karen thank you for visiting. My suggestion is to double the yarn (make two strands instead of 1 because that’s too thin for me). Is it no.3 light yarn you got 4oz? And use the same needles the ones on my tutorial video. For me that’s just right for the thickness it’s not chunky. Enjoy crocheting 🥰.
@@LAACrochet the yarn I am using is thicker than the one you are using in the video. I decided to use a J sized needle and one less stitch to the puff and I changed the number of puff stitches per round. So far it looks great.
@@karencatlett978 oh I see that’s great. I thought it is smaller thread because if it is you have to double it ☺️. Im sure that’s looks good when it is done ☺️.

Hi Aquilia, thank you so much for visiting my channel 🥰. I haven’t tried 8ply yarn yet but i think it works. Totally agree with you. I mute the music. The written instructions for row 14 are so confusing. Most times if the video doesn’t have verbal instructions I close it and move on to one that does. There are many, many videos with verbal instructions to follow. Trying to read the screen and crochet at the same time just doesn’t work.
I turn the volume down and listen to my audio books while viewing these videos-…(and I speed up the videos that show more of the creator talking vs creating😂). If captions are available they can be vastly entertaining when from another language…either way, their provided music is rarely enjoyable to everyone. There is only one crochet artist who bothers to use quality, soothing music to go with her magnificent work…but mostly, it’s wise to just listen to your own and let these creators do their own thing-it’s their video.
