You are reading my mind. But I already know I will be wearing this hat before next year. Which is just a few days away now. I am a yarn addict and I got the scraps...lol
I just finished making 4 of these at the same time for a market! Great stash buster! Easy to pattern to follow! People are loving this vibe! Thank you so much for your hard work and you fun lively tutorial 🤩🤩
I am relatively new to crochet and successfully made an amazing hat with the help of this tutorial and the printed pattern. I tried to read the printed instructions and figure them out myself, but was glad to have the video to check I had understood. I think my stitches have improved by the end. It wasn't very hard at all, so glad I decided to stretch myself. Thank you.
I normally crotchet blankets. I saw this hat and decided to try and make it. This hat is everything. I will post a picture after I am finished. I set my quilt to the side in order to try this. My specialty is making quilts and hand woven scarves amongst other things I make at home. Thank you for sharing your talent with us, most appreciated!❤❤
I loved your granny cardigan so much I've made about 10 of them!.. lol..for me n for Christmas gifts. I can't wait to make this adorable newsboy hat..another big hit! Thank you so much for sharing your talent..🥰
Aww thank you so much! I have to admit I own way too many hexi cardigans, and now I own way too many of these hats 🤣 but oh well, they bring me joy so there's no harm is there! ❤️😆
At 1:06:04 give or take a few seconds you say half double crochet, but it's obvious that it's 3 double crochet. Sorry if I offended you. It's a great pattern. I am making 2 at once.❤
And now I'm about to finish a second one! I love this pattern, the color changes and the stitch changes are fun, plus the finished hat is comfy and cute! Thank you, your instruction is tops!
Oh my....this hat is adorable! Just found you and subscribed right away. Love your teaching style and humor. So easy to follow. This will be an upcoming project for me. So colorful and a beautiful way to use up leftover yarn. I can see myself making several of these. Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
I just love love love this beanie. I’m trying to prep a table for my first ever farmers market table (at 62) and I need this hat in my life. I’ll wear it and any inquiries for custom makes will be a huge seller I think. It will be ok to sell this right??? Thank you so much for sharing this.
Love this and Love the Color and Pattern of the sweater you are wearing, can you share a link to that pattern of your sweater? Thank you for your instructional videos.🤩 God Bless!💞🙏🏽💞
Please excuse my poor English. this hat is adorable. May I ask you a question? I don't know if I can get the same yarn, but, what kind of yarn do you use ?.
I will definitely start recording once my kids go back to school in September! They've been off for the 6 weeks holiday! 🫣😆 I have 3 new tutorials that I plan to record ❤️
If you did, it would come out smaller, possibly for a child. You can try double stranding it. There is a gauge for the pattern. After round 4 it should be 15cm ❤️
My husbands head is 60cm. I havent tried it yet but its been on my mind about making him one in chunky yarn and a 7mm hook to see how it turns out. He did say if I could make it slighter bigger, he would definitely wear it. I've just not got round to it yet! 🙈
I thought about the 7mm hook too even with the worsted weight yarn. I’ll try that first to see how it goes. I really enjoy your tutorials. Putting the finishing touches on one of your hexagonal granny cardis. So much fun to make. My mom wants one now.
Hi if you made it in dk yarn it would come up too small. You could try doubling up the yarn and then checking the measurements. By round 4 it should measure 15cm. 😊
There is a part in the pattern where you measure a gauge, but I've currently forgotten which round it is on but it's all in the tutorial. I would check that measurement before completing the entire project. 🙂
I am making this hat now, and I love it!. We're about to start round 13. I wish I knew how many rounds were left to finish. I am using beige yarn. My hat looks like a pie to me. It's lovely. th-cam.com/video/2mGc8ks9nJc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dAP4pBawT-5B6KO8
