I am new to your channel. I thought I'd try your hat pattern, because it is one of the few with a brim that does not sit tight on the head like a beanie. You are a great teacher. I found your Pt1 and P2 easy to watch and understand. My only difficulty was closing with decreases. It was a small space and hard to see exactly how many decreases you had. I love my hat and am excited to try some of your other patterns! Thank you!
I needed mine a hair smaller since this pattern goes quickly I'm restarting with a 5.5 mm hook to get it that little bit I need. if anyone needs to increase you can go up a hook size.
Dear InterUnet!! thank you very much for uploading this video. I am from Nepal, you may not have heard about this country, but you made it possible for me to make a hat like this. Thank you very much once again.
How many single crochet stitches are you working on after you join the chain? You say to chain 65 but never say how many stitches single crochet stitches you have after working the 1st round or after you increase. This is a bit confusing.
Hi ...im just finished the row 5 and continue to row 6 ( the increase of sc ) but got problem at the end. Why the last increase chain can not match to chain 65?? It was in chain 64. So i have left 3chains before the slip stitch chain. It supposed to leave 2 chains, right?? I have count and count the stitches but got no idea what was gone wrong. Could you help me ??
i love your crochet designs very much...i also made some of your designs also..i want a vedio of mens crochet full hands sweater ...kindly please upload as early as possible
Hi Chin zzz, For more info about the project, please visit interunet.com/hat-crochet-pattern. If your gauge is about the same as mine, you'll get an adult size hat. Happy crochet!
Thanks a whole lot, please I will need your assistance. I have finished the fifth chain but didn't understand how to continue with the sixth and seventh chain.
please mention the size of hat in inches...like how many inches u have in first 7 rounds of hat...please explain my yarn is small so I need to manage according to inches...not no. of rounds
Hi! I'm so excited to make this hat, but my main problem is the size of the hook. I tried to check on your website but I can't find the written pattern. Please help me. Thank you
I have just started to make it but when it comes like hairband I don't know why it looks like twisted and I can't make them straight I have again started but again same problem araised , 😭😭 please help me why is this happening..???
Hi Pranamita Banerjee, You may upload a picture of your work on this webpage interunet.com/hat-crochet-pattern, so I could see what might be the issue.
Where is the link to the video description? I just subscribed to your link because I would like to know how much yarn to purchase, the weight as well as the type of yarn. Any help from anyone is appreciated :)
It's just one click of a bottom to go to the website and get more details about the project. You may also see the size of the hook, if you'll watch the video (like 0:39). Happy crochet!
Multiples of 8 chs + 1. This tutorrial is 64 + 1 = 65, so for a larger size up use 72 + 1 = 73. Remember to adjust the pattern for increases and decreases, as well as the addition of the brim. Hope this helps. :)
Ampuleg lass if it's 72+ 1 then how should we increase and decrease wats the method..plz help..am new to this..I ve strtd BT it luks too small so I need to do 72+1
Hi, Don't get confused with the stitches. When I say 72 + 1 I mean 72 working 'chains' and the loop on the hook. After you have made the main band the row for the initial increase is 7 single st and then an increase in the 8th st and repeat to the end), hence the reason for adding 8 stitches so that the pattern will run correctly. After you have made the main band and completed the cluster stitch section you just have the brim to add. In the video she says to start 15 from the starting point. As you have added 8 stitches then to keep the pattern even, on both sides, you must start the brim in the 19th st, then just follow the brim instructions as normal. The additional sizing is added to the rear of the hat, gives you 4 stitches, start and end, evenly on the rear brim that won't affect the main brim pattern and doesn't skew the brim. I also found this pattern too small. I only started hooking beginning of June 2016, don't give up eventually it all suddenly just comes together. Good luck. :)
I think videos shouldn't demonstrate as if it were a tutorial on how to crochet but, it's a given that one who would do this hat knows the basic steps or are familiar with the stitches. It's a tutorial on how to make a hat, not how to crochet
rosie 123 ..it does indicate that this is a tutorial for beginners, therefore, she explains each stitch. I'm sure it is much appreciated by those who are just learning how to crochet! I am not a beginner, but I like the style/pattern of this hat so it doesn't bother me one bit that she explains how to do each stitch! You can always fast forward to the next step!

Thanks for your detailed instructions. Please be so kind to advise how many clusters should be in the round 15th and 17th. Thanks in advance.
Hi Aliki Aslanoglou,
If you use the same number of chs as I used, you should have 32 and 24 clusters in 15 and 17 rounds respectively. Happy crochet!

wheres part 2
In the written instructions for “red hat” it says 322 yards needed...is this a typo? Lol
I don't think so. One skein of Red Heart Super Saver yarn is 364 yards. So that would mean that one skein would make a hat.
Je voudrais savoir comment je peux faire pour avoir le tutoriel en français je ne comprends pas votre langue je vous remercie d'avancr
What kind of crochet thread are you using ?
Hi Karisha David,
Please check the link in the video description to find the written instruction. Happy crochet!
