@@Black66one thing I I’m surprised you haven’t shown in a video yet is how you keep all those bikes clean! I’m basically a clean freak with my b200r now also that I went down to harbor freight a few days ago and picked up a predator 224. It’s a really big upgrade from the 196 that came with the bike.
This is a beautiful sounding engine with that cam. Have you ever considered a 2 stroke minibike 👀 that would be awesome and would love to see what you could do. ANY 2 stroke that is. Or maybe a rotary? That’s another good one.
really surprised that coil made that much of a difference. i always heard that it was a placebo effect and the non resistor wire didn’t do anything. definitely gonna make one now !
Another gr8 edit!! Can I ask for your suggestion about a Stinger clutch I bought? How do I stop it from chattering when it starts engaging around 20mph? It feels like it going to brake the crank! It shakes me and the bike! Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your next upload!!
What clutch is on this bike? I put on a Drum style clutch on my stretched motovox that has a predator 212 with a Vm22 carb .120 jet, it has 22# valve springs, cast aluminum flywheel with stock key, and a header pipe and its a straight chain drive but i melted the clutch that i had bought for it within about 30 seconds of run time. Any ideas why?
Im not sure how warmed up you get the bikes before your first test, but id like to see the other coil retested to confirm its not just because of hot oil.
I have some of the bikes registered for the street out here in AZ. But here is a video of us getting pulled over. th-cam.com/video/J38UGj0_95U/w-d-xo.html
Any ideas? Mine pops pretty loud when letting off the throttle. Its a predator 212. It has the billet rod and flywheel. Aftermarket intake. With stock exhaust (cus i cant find one that fits) and a jet kit from omb warehouse. And 18 lb springs. But it does run really good.
@@JGsgarage_unboxings and like William said, get an aftermarket exhaust. I just used an old exhaust from a 450 and welded it onto the stock exhaust flange.
Yes,This is the reason for the test. Theory and real-world results are two different things sometimes. Check out the playlist on the channel for more coil tests.
99 percent of those coils are stock coil pack, with nothing more than an upgraded wire and boot. Also if I'm not mistaken the stock coil do not have a resistor anyway (the resistor is in the boot not coil). Just make sure you use a non resistor spark plug!
You do a great job.
Thanks!
@@Black66 i would love to see more predator 212

Aliexpress or temu bro

I was surprised myself
2:43 when VTEC kicks in
Love the test. Just was planning on buying a msd style coil. Just incase what coil did you use in this video? Can you link it?
Great test video 👍👍
Thanks!
Would you recommend a msd coil?
Great video as always. Any chance you can share a part(s) list? I would like to purchase the same coil for our new 212 predator.
Thank you!
Oh cool I gotta get one
Great job
Do you need a special spark plug like a non- resistance spark 11:01 plug?
Great video.. I know you get asked this a lot but what app are using for testing the speeds?
Thanks! I use digiHUD on the phone for top speed and a Dragy performance meter for 0 to 30
Nice video!
Where did you get that coil?
love the vids they are super helpful, do you have a link to the performance coil?

My 212 ghost hit 62mph on a 42t sprocket stock everything
How long did it take to get there

I usually ride them down to the store first. They are nice and hot. Sometimes maybe to hot in the summer out here.
Can you recommend a performance coil for predator 301?
Where can i get one? Normally you post a link
Just curious. Have you ever been pulled over or harassed for riding on the street by highway patrol or others? Really enjoying the channel. Thanks

What coil did you use?
I explain what coil Im using in the video. Thanks for watching !
What app do u use for your mph

So just to make sure I understand, only difference between the 2 magnetos is the boots and wire. The metal part is the same?
Never mind, I just listened to the end of the video where you confirmed what I asked. Sorry
What gear ratio are you running on this bike?
need more info !! what is the best jet size for SOCAL, OC ?
If pwk 38 pilot 115 main run the silver needle at 1 clip position lower
Link for the coil?

Running lean/rich. what jet you got in there?
@@QuitTrippin .036 jet. With a 140 emulsion tube
Get rid of the stock exhaust which is a major restriction at this point. Then adjust your valves, take your time and do them right.
@@JGsgarage_unboxings I’d recommend a new carb with a 110 or 115 jet. That’ll get rid of the popping problem.
@@JGsgarage_unboxings and like William said, get an aftermarket exhaust. I just used an old exhaust from a 450 and welded it onto the stock exhaust flange.
Dude do you live in breaking bad?
Picked up almost exactly 5%.
So all I would need to do is put a different boot and or wire on my coil? Hmmmmmm
Video 3 of asking for a turbo on a mini bike
It’s not worth it noah. There are tons of other vids with them brother. Even supercharger
Retard timing at higher rpm? Isn't that the opposite of what we want that the magneto already does perfectly? What about CDI?
