A King Air 360ER with a range of 4,702 km would be ideal. 15 passengers and requires 4057ft (1237m) to take off, and 2981ft (909m) to land. Would take approx. 5 hours to fly from Cape Town; or 6 hours from Saint Helena and about the same from Rio de Janeiro. 91 gallons of fuel/hour. Would probably have to be subsidised, but would be especially ideal from medical emergencies and supplies etc.
