I live about 150 miles from Falwell and I landed here once with my flight instructor in a p-28, quite an interesting experience

Meanwhile, Landing a 737 on a down slope at 150Kts
The one time I landed here it was at night and I was using the airport because it was open 24/7 unlike the FBO at KLYH. After fueling up at LYH (because the self serve was down at Falwell) I made my way over. I triggered the pilot controlled lighting on downwind and finally learned there was a slope. I had read the NOTAM about landing 10, assuming it was for noise abatement, and so I was already setup for 10. I continued with my landing and was safely off by the first taxiway. I took off later that night and it took 1800 RPM to get a 172S up the taxiway to the top of the hill. Definitely the craziest airport I've ever landed at.

I am glad that it (thankfully) worked out for you, but landing at night at an airport you have never been to on a runway that **PER NOTAM** you are not supposed to land on is a good way to end up on a NTSB report (or dead).
As GA pilots, we all need to work hard in order to keep both the rate of accident reports (and insurance premiums) as low as possible.

I trained at this airport about 15 years ago. It doesn't have that sudden steepness, but it is pretty steep. You can do your run-up taxiing up the hill given the amount of power you need just to taxi up it. Landing long is not really a problem as the hill will slow you down (I once blew a landing and came in long and fast un-stabilized and the instructor took over and landed on the hill instead of trying to climb back out), and you are not supposed to go around when low (or touch and go), although I did witness a guy (from the pattern) doing his first solo in a Cirrus he bought (lol) go around once and almost hit a tree -- he touched down long, made a shaky radio call about go around and I saw him take back off right before the hill -- lucky. There was also an old story about a private jet that had to land there once and the ordeal to find someone to fly it out. They sold JET-A but I never once saw anyone buy it.
I've driven past this airport a few times. You can't actually see it well from the road but I remember the first time I googled it after driving past and I was heavily questioning whoever built it.
I go to Liberty University as an aviation student. We do a lot of operations here. Pretty wild to see
Falwell is a private airport in Lynchburg, VA if I remember correctly.
Definitely best airport to make butter landing challenge ever!

We have researched how best to achieve our dreams within our financial capacity, and with some clever financial decisions and some sacrifice it's quite possible (unless you want to fly commercially in future). Doesn't matter if you're a waitress, there are clear options.
