This would be a great idea to use up all the partial charm packs you have left over! Thanks for the idea.

I love making baby quilts and consider myself a beginner even though I've been sewing and quilting for about 15 years now. Always looking for easy baby quilts and this one seems to fit the bill. I have plenty of charm packs and jelly rolls and never know what to do with them. Thank you for sharing this. I think I can actually make this one.

I like that sashing plan.. I was just getting ready to sash a quilt and was thingking of using cornerstones to help line it up. This is so much better. Thanks for shaing.

Cornerstones are a great way to easily line things up, too!

Cute pattern! A faster way to make this quilt would be to skip the 7 inch rectangles and instead use a 2 1/2 by width of the fabric strip as Row Sashing between each row (You can add a second piece as needed to make the session wide enough for the bigger quilt size.)

Yes, long sashing strips are definitely a faster way! I wanted to provide another option that gives the look of sashing but is more approachable for beginners. I personally don't love working with long sashing strips so I find this method to be a really easy way to make sure everything is lined up perfectly 😊
