Awesome snapper from 70 odd meters, were you using a Gulp Squid vicious soft bait and then adding sliding sinker to get it down?

Thanks, Yup thats the one. Most of the other bigger jig heads come with a huge hooks. Never had much luck on them. These work well for me

quick question, does your Saltiga's paint chip in the Footing part? or is it still in pristine condition?

Mine is still ok, haven’t had that issue yet but i would take it back to Daiwa if i have that issue for sure.

Nice catch. But very disappointing to hear that that comp was an old school, out of date catch and weigh in comp with no catch-measure-photo-section. The kayak fishing comp all have at least a measure and release section in all of their comp or alternatively a max length to weigh in. Everyone should be thinking sustainability now and my personal belief is that catch and weigh in comps should become a thing of the past

I rather to catch and eat within the regulation, most fish that i see been release either their dead or injured with less survival chance.
