    🐐🏀🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 G.O.A.T Jordan wasn't even in basketball shape doing great things in 95 😆😂! Some of the ways he was dunking was like how he used to dunk in his rookie year in 84-85, especially against the Magic. When the legs were in different positions when he was jumping.

  • @Classicbasketballdvds

    i was waiting for this. I think this was the last true year MJ was "Air Jordan". He had a lotta explosion in the 95 Playoffs. He wasn't dunking like that in the 96-98 years...well maybe a little early in the 95-96 season, but i noticed there would be flashes of that athletic MJ during 96-98, but he wasn't dunking consistently like that 95 playoff run. That looked like 90-93 MJ in that 95 Playoff run.

    • @jrus690
      @jrus690 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He actually stated it himself that his return was not as springy. He could no longer take off from the free throw line. He reverted to the fadeaway a lot. It is just too bad that he could not have had different players earlier on, say 86-87 to 88-89, when he was in his real prime. I do not regard the 91-93 period as his prime, he was just in a real team. They should have kept Charles Oakley and not traded him for Bill Cartwright, that hurt their 88-89 year, but everybody remembers 'the shot' and that is all they remember.

    • @samuellee2108

      @@jrus690 absolutely 91-93 was MJ real prime he still had the freakish athleticism with the skills and mind, he said himself his prime was 91...I believe 93 was his best.

    • @jrus690
      @jrus690 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@samuellee2108 I think I regard 88-92 to be MJ's prime years because the regular season records and the playoff runs got better. 1993 was apparently a weak Bulls team with a mentally tired MJ, so they were back at the record they were at in 1990. If MJ had stayed around than it would have been interesting to see what would have happened with Toni, Steve, and Luc, they might have had a 72-10 season and played the Rockets in the finals.

    • @samuellee2108
      @samuellee2108 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @jrus690
      @jrus690 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@samuellee2108 It sort of weird in hindsight. The league was 'normal' more or less when Michael retired. Then you get a two year run of the defensive heavy Rockets with question of whether they could have ended the Bulls run. The Pacers suddenly show up and prove that the Bulls are not the only ones out East that can handle the Knicks. Michael comes back and all the teams that he faced in the first triple are gone. There was 93', 94', and especially 97' when the Bulls could have taken on the Rockets, but no of course not.

      @@vergil2067 not the metric I was using. Baseball and basketball require two very different muscle groups, twitch, etc. way different. Mike literally transformed his body from a damn near perfect basketball frame to a baseball form. So coming back in 95, the only advantage he had was he was a year or two younger. But he ran out of gas nearly every playoff game that post season. He didn’t have it. And even in 96 he was too bulky and heavy and it weighed down on his knees and caused tendinitis in both knees AND lower back troubles late in the post season. 97 was where he himself mentioned how much better he felt physically and had more ‘bounce’ in his legs. This is from the goats own mouth. Listen to his post game interview against the heat in the 96-97 season.
