I was at Ft. Bragg in the summer of 1968 for ROTC basic training. I didn't see anything familiar except some of the old buildings. We got up early every day and rode deuce and a half trucks out to the hot, sandy, piney woods for field training. That was a miserable experience.
Fort Liberty is what I think it is called now? I will always remember it as Fort Bragg, It is definitely a historic post...so many have experienced it and have memories of it, although so many who trained there paid the supreme sacrifice, we must never forget. A great history indeed.
Cool video. I was 9 years old and living in Okinawa on Kadena AFB. Everything was geared for Vietnam. My father was USAF.
