That's because at that point he had more than double his boss HP total of 6.5kish, plus a one time 30-40% HP heal, and was regen-ing 2% of his HP per second. The bosses are designed to fight us, who typically cap out at around 1.9kish HP. The bosses just didn't have the DPS to take the bastard out. It also shows how overtuned Malenia's DPS is.
@@MEver316 Elden Beast isnt burst damage, he's consistent damage over the course of the fight, not deleting a health bar in one move kinda damage output. different forms of DPS. Malenia is frontloaded damage while Elden Beast's damage is evenly spread out if not a little backloaded.. but yeah the regen is what made that fight too easy for Gideon.
Basically Gandalf. Warned the party that they didnt have the level to tank Moria and had to risk death to maybe beat the secret boss(Balrog) they got by confirming 20 on the encounter roll.

I was kind of expecting the end to have a "SIR GIDEON OFNIR, THE ALL KNOWING!" edited in at some point. Jokes aside, it's almost a bit tragic how this shows that if banded together, the roundtable hold potentially could have taken the throne under Gideon's guidance.
And remember, most of them where doing their own thing, meaning that they weren’t really looking to get stronger. Rather they are mostly static, or aren’t properly trained. (DIALLOS)

Next you should do the old roundtable members (like Vyke, Juno Hoslow, Vargram, Alberich, Tragoth, etc.) vs the demi gods and then the old roundtable vs the new roundtable.
The only reason this doesn’t happen I think is cus they all lose the sight of grace but even then Gideon knew where most of them were anyway he should’ve been lord so long ago
@@33GLOCK I mean to be fair. We are too by the time we get to the Elden Beast. Gideon doesn't have any of the Great Runes by the time we face him. While we could potentially have every one in the game.

Gideon with that many Great Runes and with the Two Fingers backing him should be capable of this lore wise as well.
Not gonna lie, when the idea of the Roundtable was first shown, I'd hoped we would get a moment like that. A shame that in Game we are basicly the only one that is working towards becoming Elden Lord, it would have been nice if others were shown to also progress towards this goal and maybe even become Rivals or Comrades, that invade or join you in battle.

It makes sense with the lore since becoming a beast or weird Eldritch spawn thingy is associated with increased indulgence in blood and/or gaining too much insight, while going hollow in the souls games happens due to a lack of hope and motivation i.e. stagnation.

It just shows how strong Gideon really is. He practically soloed the Elden Beast and did decent against Malenia. Crazy how strong we are compared to that lol
I gave him 3 great runes, which brought his HP to 10k but nothing more than that. Hp regen made a difference since the beast's attacks are so damn slow

What you are saying is obviously bias... BUT I guess a way he could do that is by increasing the poise per NPC that he is fighting. I THINK whenever you summon a phantom the players get a poise damage nerf. So to compensate for that you buff the bosses poise based off of how many NPCs are there. That way it could still fall in line with the idea staying true to the mechanics and canon. The buffs wouldn't seem as lopsided for viewers like yourself.
I agree, would've been nice to see Rykard do more then just swing once and then get staggered. At the same time though it's absolutely fucking hilarious how often it happens

That was the only part of the video that I disliked, his resistance-to and recovery-from damage was just goofy. Perhaps someone could tell me why that happened.
Fun fact: Gideon is more or less OP based on what enemies YOU encounter because he spies on you and learns everyone's moves. That's why bro just whips out everyone's most OP spells and incantations.

This is really good. I wish I saw Mad Tongue Alberich with them, despite his banishment. Also, I think that the age of Order would have been more fitting for Gideon.
Don't forget some legendary Tarnished such as Vargram, Vyke. Prime Vyke in the gaol one is actually high level npc, so i assume he can match what Gideon can do here
he buffed all of them by 25% of their state it wasn't fair for radahn which is early game boss while he kept them at original stats when they fighted malenia which is end-game boss
So, basically, this is what the Rountable Hold could accomplish if they got their shit together. (And Gideon hadn't attempted to sabotage the whole operation for some reason.)
Looking at this a lot later, I wanna get a group together, give them the roundtable army's gear, then just send them in to fight the remembrance bosses
This proves Olfnir shouldn’t have doubted himself so much. He theorize he actually could’ve become Elden Lord. At the end he plays almost as good as a human player.
Being able to stack multiple great runes together was never intended. Like, as the player, you pick the one you like most. It's kind of busted being able to just have them all on, lol.

I think these "group vs bosses" videos should give the bosses higher poise, otherwise they don't get to show their stuff cuz they just get staggered.
What you are saying is obviously bias...
BUT I guess a way he could do that is by increasing the poise per NPC that he is fighting. I THINK whenever you summon a phantom the players get a poise damage nerf. So to compensate for that you buff the bosses poise based off of how many NPCs are there. That way it could still fall in line with the idea staying true to the mechanics and canon. The buffs wouldn't seem as lopsided for viewers like yourself.

That was the only part of the video that I disliked, his resistance-to and recovery-from damage was just goofy.

Team Gideon was very aggressive about spamming abilities. I was shocked at how effective flame of frenzy was for damage.
The Frenzied Flame incantations are actually nuts. Pure fire damage at a rapid velocity + a shit ton of poise damage.

Being able to stack multiple great runes together was never intended. Like, as the player, you pick the one you like most. It's kind of busted being able to just have them all on, lol.
