I like to think the reason the beam deals so much damage is because it's rearranging particles. So it's just lethal to everything since it rearranges personal space. Like someone's insides.
SO many cool moments in this mashup! I gotta say the standout for me though was the Fire Giant. The way that phase change ended up temporarily breaking the beast's AI so it just stood there for a minute watching the Fire Giant erupt was very cinematic. I could almost imagine it thinking to itself "...interesting" before charging back into the fray. Very cinematic.
In 3 solo playthroughs and 1 co op, I don't think I've EVER seen this psychopathic gas guzzling bulldozer bug stand still as long as it did against Godrick

To be honest id rather see maliketh first boss, or goddess of rot first boss. Just to give them the glory they deserved, because destined death and scarlet aeonia can destroy 500k hp rykard, as long as Rykard does not likewise have an extreme multiplier in damage department. I think Maliketh and Malenia can kill him solo in the situation you provided excluding the permanent rancorstorm lava eruptions. Idk if they still can in rancorstorm is permanent (rancorstorm being the chasing skeletons right?).

I think the lava damage around him would have to be increase x3 to see how long Rykard lasts like that + 500K hp.

I really dont understand why with these mods maliketh’s enemy is always located too far back at the beginning of second phase such that maliketh’s first jump attack always miss. With us players even if the first phase fight ends at the very treshold once phase two begins we are always positioned in the middle of the arena such that we would get hit unless we run forward

Malenia was ironically saved by what's usually a weakness: she's easy to knock down. When bosses get knocked down, they get s until they stand back up. The blast immediately knocked Malenia down and had mostly dissipated by the time she stood back up. Whereas other bosses with giga-poise just never got knocked down and so took the full brunt of the beam and died.

I love how Gideon triggered Law of Causality and the Fallingstar Beast went, “That’s cute, I’m going to keep running you into this wall.”
It's like the meme of the bull looking at the cowboy saying "Do you have any idea how fucked you are" 😂
Ahhh the second phase transition totally saved the Last Giant... Even the beast was standing still, watching him like saying "hey, that's not fair!!!!!!!!"
should have put "Bruh" over its head for how long it was standing there waiting for a referee to intervene
Fallingstar beast: “Radahn? Oh this will be quick.”
Radahn: “You fool, you can’t possibly hope to beat me at my own game.”
Man, i always cry whenever morgott gets stance broken, he is my favourite demigod but he has so little stance
He's designed meticulously to punish real players mistakes that's why
@@592Johno I know, which is why it pains me
@@592Johno that doesn't change the fact that he has inaccurate very bad laughable poise doesn't matter against bosses or players
it is just seen clearer against bosses
he is so ez to get stance broken and one of the most ez to do (if fought overleveled)
The most interesting thing about these fights is seeing which attacks count for ai reading. Malenia read a lot of those attacks but some she clearly couldn’t see.
Super interesting from a game code perspective
4:56, Gosh damn that was unexpected as hell. Gideon was NOT enjoying himself.
I love how the beast walks elegantly. Also the poise breaks it has are incredible
4:36 would have been a great "I need help" moment because he casted the same spell 3 times 🤣
that comeback against godskin duo was epic
In 3 solo playthroughs and 1 co op, I don't think I've EVER seen this psychopathic gas guzzling bulldozer bug stand still as long as it did against Godrick
Seein him clap the Reskin Duo just as theyre about to melt his health bar was so satisfying.
7:33 wow, I didn't know you can actually knock off the beast while it's charging at you. There's so much stuff I keep discovering about this game.
Hear me out, How many bosses does it take to kill Prime Rykard?
HP is set to 500k
Poise is set to 1.5k
In phase 2 the Rancorstorm's lava eruptions are permanent
Bosses trickle in every time they lose such as Radagon and Morgott being added after a few losses
Bosses with DoT like the Godskins and Maliketh are added towards the end
If Rykards Arena gets too small move to Placidusax's
To be honest id rather see maliketh first boss, or goddess of rot first boss. Just to give them the glory they deserved, because destined death and scarlet aeonia can destroy 500k hp rykard, as long as Rykard does not likewise have an extreme multiplier in damage department. I think Maliketh and Malenia can kill him solo in the situation you provided excluding the permanent rancorstorm lava eruptions. Idk if they still can in rancorstorm is permanent (rancorstorm being the chasing skeletons right?).
@@SomeUserk yeah but it's only the eruptions CAUSED by the Rancorstorm
@@SomeUserk He means the lava eruption bursts that come out from the ground during the Rancor storm. So if there was a way to have those lava eruptions be constantly bursting out of the ground, could any boss beat Rykard like that? I don't know, those lava burst deal a good chunk of damage and cause poise breaking but they are spread out. I think the lava damage around him would have to be increase x3 to see how long Rykard lasts like that + 500K hp.
But Rykard is already in his prime tho
@@shouhanyun8203 Not yet, he would be at his peak after devouring all the demigods. At the moment he hasn't devoured any that we know of.
That Radahn meteor was a jaw dropper. I was hoping you would show another fight. He showed why he keeps stars from falling.
13:03 The Fallingstar beast really showed the Godskins who was the real boss...
The unintentional victory pose shot after beating the godskins is worthy of a wallpaper
I love how it just stood there waiting for Godrick to attack, giving him a false sense of hope, only to tear it away from him at the last second with such graceful spite.
I like how it occasionally looks at Godrick curiously, like... "that was an attack? are you ok?"
When i was watching the video, i was wondering, imagine if prime radahn tamed and ride a falling beast star in the past, it would be so insane lmao
Lol that would be crazy
Leonard is way better than any mere falling star beast 😂.
@@rakshithanand8262 does leonard have a laser attack?
@@cthulhuisgamer373 No. But he IS capable of living for centuries after infection by the scarlet rot without losing his mind or any noticeable physical degredation.

Yeah there’s a reason why he’s called “Star Scourge” Radahn. Truly incredible

I'm so happy we finally got to see Radahn's arrow rain utilised to it's full potential
7:48 love how beast slowly walk into astel, like:
go on show me what you got.
Love the perfect sequence of events leading to Maliketh getting rekt: FGFB going into 2nd phase first, then it triggering the opponent's 2nd phase and THEN the poise break quickly followed by the laser to end the fight.
Might be dumb luck on the AI's part, but had every single fight played out like that, the Beast would've had an even better showing than it already did.
With that said, it got totally robbed by Rykard, but credit for nearly oneshotting him with the laser.
Rykard just tank laser beam to assert dominance
The way astel and FGFB ended the foñifght with their most powerful attacks was epic

Now I feel better about all the anguish this boss caused me in that damn mountain crater.
Radahn just eating all of his HP with Rain of fire was one of the more satisfying things
Ah yes… the fully grown Starfall Beast…
A Boss I will never forget.
I felt so miserable failing again and again when fighting this Abomination in the Crystal Tunnel of Sellia…
Yes. It was there before Elden Ring received it‘s first Patch and I killed it there before the Patch happened. That was an Ordeal, I tell you.
It made me so mad! But you know what they say:
„Beware of the mad Madman!“
Or something.
Man the Radahn ones were just so fitting to his lore lmao.
That Rennala “fight” was just bullying.
Godskin Duo: “We’re destroying this thing. Light work.”
Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast: “Light work you say? I can show you the light…”

I hate it when they do that, lol.
23:13 Fallingstar got denied hard with a 360 spin attack poise break. On top of that the spin synced so well with the music.
Suggestion: A Godfrey Rennala team-up against all bosses
Bruh Godfrey alone is the second or third strongest boss😂 with Renalla camping in the back they'd just simply have no challenge what so ever. It would be an insanely boring video
@@s8theninjawarrior916only malenia and maliketh can deal with (and maybe mogh if he do the ritual correctly)
Thank you for redoing radhan's fight, those arrows really destroyed all chances
Duuuude, I want that purple gravity beam attack he did at the end of morgotts fight! That's awesome. They need to add that in the game on the dlc or something. I hope the dlc has some new weapons and spells and incantations. I'm so excited for it.
I was shocked at Radahn's win, then you moved him closer and I went "oh no..." and then he won again!
Astel staggering it with that first shot, then getting staggered by the charge immediately after was cinematic as hell
Placidusax was tough to watch, I kept praying he'd go down to 50% before the Beast so that he had a chance of dodging the laser...but the Beast couldn't do enough damage...ironic.
Godfrey really shows that this thing relies on getting to its second phase to fuck you up, if it can't do that it's dead
“I need Hel-“

The the distorted “I need help” from Gideon was amazing and I love it!
The beast of all time!
Rykard uses Janky Hitbox! It's super effective! Heh. Was looking forward to Horah Loux's grab on the beast...
I think Maliketh would've won if it didnt have the beast clergyman phase, like, it was at half hp but didnt have that phase
Unless it had Rykard's health pool the laser would've oneshot him
@@orangenostril The thing is that if there wasnt a beast clergyman phase the beast wouldnt have gotten to phase 2, Maliketh would kill it too fast
@@orangenostril i'm pretty sure if Maliketh jump the laser will miss
I really dont understand why with these mods maliketh’s enemy is always located too far back at the beginning of second phase such that maliketh’s first jump attack always miss. With us players even if the first phase fight ends at the very treshold once phase two begins we are always positioned in the middle of the arena such that we would get hit unless we run forward
@@SomeUserk It wouldnt really matter
I like how its not even a mandatory boss. It's just chilling on top of a mountain minding it's own business.
I love the shade thrown at Malenia, like “the laser was getting hit by the walls and she has lifesteal to squeak out a victory” like she doesn’t have another health bar.
true, but if that first didnt hit the wall and she went to phase two the second could have if a tiny hill didnt save her

no wonder radahn won both times, he was the one holding these guys back and all. amazing
FINALLY!!! The fight with the Godskin Duo reminded me of GB2. The Duo resemble the Skolari bros. to me and the Beast just went ghost busting out of nowhere!!!
Okay the slowed down “I NEED HELP” is gonna have me laughing for days 😂
Same. His normal I need help is funny, but that was just hilarious
It was fun seeing both the beast and Astal compare whose Princers were big😆
The first Radahn fight is probably exactly what a battle between Radahn and a FGFSB would look like. His moveset almost looks perfectly designed for it tbh
Saw this guy the other day while exploring Mount Gelmir, noped out of there real fast
Lmao
Malenia and Fallingstar Beast both had some cool dodges in their fight. I'm surprised she won so easily, I figured that his busted laser attack would make it a close call.
The real problem is that the beam has a very long cool down and her rot nuke doesn't wait lol
@@BjornTheBear or it is a hitbox thing
Malenia got a knockdown animation which grant her immunity during damage
and the laser knockdown a lot not to mention the arena size
everything in the fight worked against the fallingstar
@@BjornTheBear I dunno if it's a long cooldown, he used it twice against her in a 20 second window. But I haven't seen the code so maybe that was a fluke.
