When I hear this song I want to cry. It is so beautiful and I’ve always loved Gary Puckett. I’m 65 years old now and I loved the 60s. It was some of the best times of my life and with the greatest music ever.
I been a huge fan since the beginning. I must admit that a string of his hits played out like a bio of what many a young guy was going thru back in the late 60's. It started with Woman Woman and worked its way up to Over You and This Girl Is A Women Now. I went in the Army in early 68 and received my Dear John accompanied by Young Girl and as devastated as I was Over You made it worst. I think This Girl Is A Women Now accompanied me to Vietnam. It wasn't till I purchased a double album of their Greatest Hits that I really came to appreciate Gary Puckett's range and how well he covered many of the hit songs of that era. My biggest surprise was his rendition of the song Home which tugged at by memory bank and my experiences in Nam. I have seen Gary a few times in the last decade and what he now lacks in the once tremendous tenor deliver of songs he now makes up for with his showmanship and genuine personality as a performer. Gary asks all us Vets to come to the stage for a meet and greet during his performance and takes time to shake hands and exchange pleasantries which is a rarity among artist. Gary, Thanks For Your Service !!!
That unmistakable, incomparable, incredible, triple-platinum voice of Mr Gary Puckett gets me every single time. He's the man... and he's still got it in 2015 !! Thanks for sharing :) Mark - Brisbane, Aust.
I grew up in the 60's listening to Gary Puckett, and he still has the sexiest vocals I have ever heard, and that makes him even sexier !! Keep singing your heart out Gary!!
I'm 43...meaning I became a fan of Gary Puckett and the Union Gap through my parents initially. Now that I'm on my own, I recognize that I've never heard a more powerful voice than Gary Puckett. I don't need mom and dad to recognize your greatness! Love you Gary!
Are you kidding? First, this was 1984. Second, hes a recording artist, which means he lives through his emotions and emotions change. Besides even though here Gary was 42 , theres no way 1 he could physically sing as he did at 23 or 2 interpret the song the same. I think its a master class performance by a gifted recording " artist"
Gary Puckett helped me through my late teens and twenties just listening to his music. Women just related. Thank you 🙏. You still sound wonderful saw you a few years ago 🥰❤️🎤
Oh, my gracious! Love it! "Woman, Woman," has to be my favorite song that Gary sings... however, I can't think of ANYTHING that he sings that I do not love. I went bonkers when I first found this posted... and each time I watch it... I go a little bonkers all over again! LOL! Thank you Harold767!
@@harold767 Harold whatever happened to that video you posted several years ago of Gary sitting on the stool in front of the band and when he was done with the song even the band gave him a standing ovation I just can’t find that video anymore
I've been in love with this man & his voice since Gary Puckett and the Union Gap first hit the airwaves. And as for his outfit, all you nay-sayers, it was the 80s. I think he looked sharp!
I’ve had the pleasure,of being Gary’s dedicated fan for over 50 yrs. Three times,I’ve seen him in concert. As long as he does live shows,I’ll endeavor to see him perform.
Arrived in New York in 69' at the age of 12 from Colombia. One of the first songs I fell in love with and his voice, even though I did not understand english at the time. Now 66 in 2023 and see him here..wow, still got it. Unique rendition with a bit of twist to it..loved it 😘

When I was about 14 in 1984, I found my dad's Gary Puckett/Union Gap album "Incredible", I put it on and the rest was history! I now have all their original LPs and now the CDs. I saw Gary Puckett live a few years back and he's still a great vocalist! His music will live on unlike the junk you hear today
How right you are sir I have always said because I grew up in the fifties and sixties which was the greatest era we ever had for a lot of things like cars jobs and especially music.. But I truly believe if this music was played today that we would have a lot fewer problems in our country because what the children have to listen to is an absolute shame and it's pitiful that they have to be exposed to the filthy music they listen to no wonder we have so much trouble in this country with our youth.. They play this music everyday all day long on the radio I think we would have a lot better life for these kids..
In my next life I hope to be one of his best friends, so he can sing every day his lovely songs for/with me.... His songs make my life wurth living!!!! thanks so much Gary x
