My older unit has steering zerks (grease fittings) and front axel zerks I'll bet you have them and missed them.
fyi on that oil filter you should not need a wrench after the factory (censored) install. However, butt the old oil and new filters (seal to seal) to see that the seals align, when installing screw it reverses once or twice to align it, then forward until snug, reverse screw it one turn to lube the seal contact then forward to snug, then add 1/8-1/4 turn to tighten.
    Airfilter ?
    Gas filter?
No ethanol Gas! If forced to run ethanol gas run it dry before parking (many add a simple fuel shut off switch)
Ethanol will draw water and clog the carburetor other wise you will need a carburetor cleaning every couple of years.

I'll have to look into those zerks. Thanks for the advice!

Just picked up a used Z-Force to see if it works better than my ZT1 on our steep grade lake yard. It’s a 2016 with only 60 HRS on it, a little scuffed up but all in all in very good shape. Thanks for the look into the recommended service I’m looking forward to working on it once the weather warms up here in Michigan 😋

I think you will love it. Solid machine. Btw 55 degrees in NH today. Crazy

I have an XT1 and a ZForce and the amount of time and the comfort level is way better. I’m sure you’re loving that machine. Keep the XT as a backup mower. It’s also better to use that with a cart instead of the Zero.

Nice to have both to use each's strengths

I have the exact mower. It would be great if you can make more maintenance videos. I cannot find many videos on this mower. Great Job. I learned a lot. Thank you

I'll do another video on my next maintenance. I'd have to look at the book again but I'm sure that will involve the fuel filter and I want to take the deck off and do a good cleaning. Thanks for watching.

My Cub Cadet isn't a ZT but it's awesome. Nice video, Dave :)

Thanks Dave! It's not a Kubota either but certainly is the only mower I've found to zero turn and stay stationary on steep slopes.

It really is an interesting design. I've never seen a ZT mower with a steering wheel.

@@PaleHorseOutdoors My old toro was the typical cross bar design that you turn with the independent rear wheels but the front end were just loose wheels so it could turn on a dime. If I hit a steep slope, which I have a couple here, the front would just fall down he slope. Makes for a scary skidding ride down. This one will turn 180 and the wheels are connected to the steering wheel. Really nice machine. I will be posting a steep slope video this year.

Good job Dave...have the same mower, what's your amount of grease you put in the spindles ? Unlike the wheels that you can see some of the old grease come out, the spindles are what just a few pumps and call it good ?
Also, ya missed the 2 zerk fittings in the center up front, one on each side of the steering column tucked underneath looking from the very front.

What brand is the grease gun that you used?

    • @BeginnerforBSeries

Kubota gun with the lock and lube fitting. Makes things so much easier.
