Right on highway 90 between Avondale and Boutte. There are sac a lait there but I have never caught them in any quantity close to the launch. People in powerboats run out toward the lake and do well.
Steve, my favorite jug bait is 1" long hotdogs, soaked in unsweetened strawberry koolaid and minced garlic. Cut up the cheapest hotdogs you can find, toss in a packet of koolaid and 1/3 of a small jar of garlic in a gallon ziploc bag. Sit it in the fridge overnight and you'll have stinky neon pink hotdogs. 2-3 pieces on a hook will call in channels and blues. I used to use cut bait (bluegill) until I did a side by side test and hotdogs won, 3 to 1. Warning**** Your Fingers will be stinky and pink. But the cats love this bait!!
Hey great video 👍 was wondering how you keep the fish. I am new to kayak fishing and I love the taste of catfish lol
I have a 48 quart igloo on the back with ice.
@@SRadigFishing you must have a big kayak. Mine not big enough for that
Great vid .
Are there sac a lait in that area. Someone told me at Pier 90. If so, where is it. New to area.

I made a batch of them and didn't have any luck rod and reel fishing with them in the river. I was thinking about trying them on jugs, will do soon.
