Comedian wins over extremely HOSTILE heckler | Shahak Shapira

  • I PROMISE there's a happy end to this! I was performing in Barcelona and was interrupted by a Black Hebrew Israelite heckler named Franz from Miami. Everything about that sentence is as weird to me as it is to you.

    🤓 About Shahak:
Shahak Shapira is an Israel-born, Berlin-based comedian. His comedy show on German TV got canceled so fast, most people didn’t even notice he had one. He recorded a stand up special for Comedy Central, which would have been awesome, but it was Comedy Central Germany, so yeah, not great. Also wrote two best sellers, which would be very impressive if this was a poetry slam. New York, Tokyo, Cape Town, Paris, London, LA, Barcelona - Shahak has successfully bamboozled audiences around the world into thinking he’s funny and even tricked world class comedians like Jim Gaffigan, Iliza Shlesinger, Maz Jobrani, Ari Shaffir and Joe List into letting him open for them - ha! Fools! By making up a bunch of credits, he was also able to stain the legendary stages of the Comedy Store LA, Gotham, Laugh Factory, Comedy Mothership, Top Secret London and The Stand with his mediocre-at-best comedy.

This. This is how you know these people are not serious. Take Jews in WW2. THEY were in legit dire situations. THEY were facing real evil. They did not have time to go to comedy shows and vacations to go talk about how serious things were for them in Germany. Cause they were actually going through it in real time. IF things were as big a deal as these folks say it is for them...they'd be enlisting and going to fight. They won't. It's easier to whine in a safe comedy club.

The illegal, Apartheid state, enabled through the Rothschilds' BALFOUR DECLARATION, had been committing war crimes and crimes against Humanity against the NATIVE PALESTINIANS since 1948...Rothschilds planned on it becoming the Seat of their NWO... These ZIONISTS are not true Semites, but IMPOSTORS/"converts" who hijacked Judaism thousands of years ago...Turkish nomads who settled in Khazaria (today, known as UKRAINE)... They attacked the USS Liberty in unmarked fighter jets and tried to place the blame on the Muslim country of Egypt (called a False Flag Attack,) hoping to get America (their cash cow and war dog) to declare war... They failed that, but succeeded on 9/11...Now Muslims throughout the World are targeted as "terrorists" and bombed by remote control drones...in perpetual World war... Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan had anything to do with 9/11; those wars are based on LIES... Suicide rates of returning veterans have been at record highs since 9/11... The only reason you would have a problem is if you’re unconsciously offended because the reality is that you have nasty things about yourself (linked to this topic) you’d not like to expose."
You certainly have jumped to some conclusions here.
      My "demands"?
      "Offended"?
"I have nasty things about myself?
"I don't want to be exposed"?
I am like most people, I just want what I came her for and what I paid for.
I paid for a fun night out with friends, food, a few drinks, and a light hearted comedy show. Not depressing things or mood killers. I've worked all week and want to kick back and enjoy a nice evening out with friends.
If I paid for a steak, I would expect to get a steak, not fish. Or should I allow the wait staff the freedom to not adhere to my demands/requests and serve me fish?
Maybe fish might make the meal more interesting, but I ordered steak and that's really what I want and what I came her for.
Sell your liberal crazy somewhere else. We're all full here.
Unless you want to demand that I adhere to your demands. Maybe you’re unconsciously offended by me because the reality is that you have nasty things about yourself (linked to this topic) you’d not like to expose."
      Just saying.

This comedian is the man! He defused a potentially bad encounter tactfully, calmly with sensitivity & respect. Reminded all they're here to have a nice night out, w/o bashing Franz

I would have lost my sh** at Fran’s. Shahak kept his composure so well. You can definitely tell he has been in this situation many times and was not shaken. Good for you man!

You were perfect. You also didn't invite a dog pile. And in fact discouraged it. You supported the other person and trying to get him to laugh. And you were successful. You did everything perfectly

Younger generations have yet to live through turmoil and chaos. After they do, they will then understand comedy. Most of the people getting offended are the ones living on easy street

His friends are dying but he's at a comedy club...maybe he should go rescue his friends if he's really that concerned about them.

Shahak this was absolutely the most EPIC moment on a comedy stage dealing with a heckler!!! You are hilarious and so brilliantly thoughtful. KUDOS!!!

I am late to the game but that was the most amazingly polite, respectful yet not conceding an inch way of dealing with a heckler, and that incredible deflect from the uncomfortable ‘dating app’ talk back to Franz, that was just gold. Well done!
I think I need to see more of your stuff. Thank you! 👍

You handled that much better than I would’ve. Franz is a few sandwich’s short of a full picnic and has much too much to say in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I totally sympathise with the heckler in his views and the fact that his friends are dying, but I really applaud you Shahak for your handling of this. You even tell the audience to leave him alone, and you entertain his concerns with as much respect as I could imagine, while also turning it into jokes along the way.
