We love Scarborough usually with one stop from Lanarkshire in Scotland a five hour journey but well worth the visit a wonderful part of Yorkshire to visit as is Whitby too greetings from Scotland 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I love to see crowds of people like this just having a good time at their own pace. People from all walks of life, young and old, families and
young couples. The lure of the sea and sandy beaches with ice cream kiosks lining the streets and boat rides for the adventurous. After a
day of this they'd all flop onto their beds to get a good night's sleep, and do it all again tomorrow. Bravo!!!

5hank you from Canada ! I grew up in England and each year our Sunday school would go on a one day bus trip to Scarborough , it was the highlight of the year ! Whenever we return to England we always spend a day at Scarborough ! Loved seeing all the familiar places .

Love how you can just step on to the boats without the use of a gangplank or a raft like in bridlington or down the rickerty wooden steps to board the pirate ship there .
Another place I don't know.....yet. That looks way too busy with people and 🚦 traffic for me but it looks beautiful. Great video as always Neal 👍

Saturday 6th July we will be in Scarborough on the Vintage Trains Clun Castle steam train from Birmingham. Pullman coaches from the 1960s. Hope its not raining as we want to walk from the station then down and along the seafront. Looking forward to being back on the coast. Train arrives about 1.30pm and departs back approx 5pm. Be a great day out ???
Brings back memories child hood holidays and recall going to the rock pool 😅 sad about the steam puss cat cafe closing down aka cuddling cats plus tea and cake 🍰 but they have a nice indoor market there with lots of different traders

I like looking at the old postcards how places used to look like.
I would like to see more of Scarborough but maybe inland im not much of a boat person and I felt too much time was spent along the beach / prom area where everything was showing the same thing.

We stopped in a holiday home, as there were 6 of us last year, 4 bedrooms , nice dining /sitting room, decent kitchen, 3 bathrooms. the year before me and my parents stopped in a guest house near the castle , which had a 2 bedroom room.
