Scarborough in North Yorkshire is a really great city and this is another historic place to just walk around and enjoy looking at everything thank you.🇬🇧💕🇬🇧
Great to see Scarborough is doing well it was our first seaside resort and remains our most popular. Down here in the southeast we have Margate which is becoming a success story we should cherish our seaside towns!
We grew up in Scarborough from about 1973 to , well I moved in 1989, some of the family left before but have gone back to live there again in the last few years and brought their of own family too. I'm coming to Scarborough to visit the family this coming Friday in May 2024 for a few days.

Have spent many a happy holiday in Scarborough, right from being a small child with my Grandma! You’ve done it proud here and am looking forward to your more specific ones in the future. The Market Halls will be fascinating! Thanks again. x 😊
Have spent quite a few holidays here, right from being a young child. It’s a lovely place and you’ve certainly done it proud in this video. Looking forward to the specific ones in the pipeline! Thanks again. x
Been to Scarborough so many times. I never have taken that route from the train station though. Interesting. I get so excited though, I want to get down to the seaside much quicker! Thanks Neil for the memories! :)
Fantastic video .I've seen a few of yours.. I really appreciate showing how beautiful our country is .Chris from Stirchley near Bournville, Birmingham.
The old church has apartments in it! We stayed in one last September. We’d booked it again for this year but the owners decided to sell up so we’ve had to book elsewhere, but it was a lovely little place! Less creepy that it looks from outside and no evidence of haunting either lol 😂
Hello, i enjoy your Vloggs , all of them, i tend to feel you live not too far away from scarborough, as you post more of that town than any other, not a problem at all, enjoyed your video of teneriefe recently, as you showed the area we stay regularly, but we also stay in the uk, in september at Dawlish warren, maybe a thought next time your down south Devon ? Keep up the good work, i enjoy your vloggs ! Ant.
Absolutely love these walkabout videos you do!! Quick question......would you ever visit dymchurch/st marys bay in Kent for a wander around? And perhaps a ride on the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway between Hythe and dungeness? Have many many happy memories of holidays down there as a kid! Apologies if you've already been, haven't watched all videos!!
Always liked Scarborough but not been since Pandemic. Your great video has prompted us. What's happened to the Argos store down there? That and the also closed Brunswick branch were very popular. Seafront's a gem! Sad to see where Basil Brush ended up though.
It's now a dump streets full of seagulls white and drunks walking about with cans of beer top of town Romanian blokes sat drinking near railway station not much to do for families wouldn't go again

I lived in Scarborough from 1960 to 1980. Our flat window can be seen when you pan from the ship shop.

Peasholm park nice
Please make your way to...Whitley Bay ❤
That’s a great idea!
Bit gloomy atmosphere about place
Nice to see someone giving a positive view of somewhere instead of those depressing bores who just go around slagging places off.
Yeh I’ve no time for those negative seekers
It’s easier to get views and I’m sure they make loads of money but I just can’t do it
Isn't it the place where the song Scarborough fair from ?
Shop opist the market called homebird recommended a look in on passing by
Will have a nosey on my next visit
Market good for food if wanted some fink eat and Copeland they do nice shortbread bunnys
Please visit Kent and Ramsgate beach
When was this filmed?
A few weeks ago
It should have said Sunday sorry
👍👍👍
got a fave coffee shop there?
I usually go to the one at the bottom of the castle steps right opposite the funfair next to the harbour!
I went yesterday and had a lovely cappuccino at Bay view coffee house on sea front ☕️
Everyone looks depressed!!
It's gone down a bit now the streets are a mess of seagull droppings and gangs of Romanians drinking up near the railway station sad how it's ended up
Look at the positives of places - dont' look to pick out any negatives you can find as you can do that at all times anywhere
Sadly Britain is a total hellhole and this is a symptom of it!
I enjoy your vidoes but not having to read the narrative. I find it very distracting and it diminishes the viewing. Otherwise, good work ❤
Thank you

Not my experience at all
I've never liked Scarborough I just travel to Bridlington much better place. But every one to there own.
❤️❤️
Yes very serious lol.
@@davidkilpatrick2164 Bridlington is the pits. It's a horrible place that's dirty and rundown.

That’s not how everyone else sees it
