My guess is the show was originally "Ilayaraja's greatest hits". And then this blunder was committed. So, they changed the episode theme to "Greatest hits"! And yet again, the channel pays namesake "tribute" to Ilayaraja by adding other unrelated elements (earlier, when actor Karthi came in for promo, they wasted time by doing a 20-minute-segment for him!), WHICH THEY NEVER DO for other music directors! Is there a GAG ORDER for the judges that they should not take the name of IR, or praise him? Only Sean Roldan said a few words about IR that he was inspired by Kanne kalaimaane song, but then sang his own composition too. And Mano said a few more words during Shenbagame song.
