Since when LiS become MCU? they thought MCU stands for Max Caulfield Universe? Jokes on them. And the choices didn't matter since it's has same result anyway. What's the point of important choice when the results still same. (E.g Yasmin still get shot, Safi still gone on villain path, etc) What a mess.
1. It was a flashback scene, it makes sense that that event lead to major trauma for max 2. ? was this game ever marketed for newcomers lol 3. it has always been about superpowers... "super-max" the game is good, if anything its short, people are just pressed that theres no chloe
15:29 bro max saying this broke me :(( max has been having nightmares of what went down in that bathroom with chloe for 10 years god that's so gut-wrenching. that means that even if she did decide to save chloe she still has go through the the fear of saving her again and again in her nigthmares and hoping that her rewind powers would work to save her.

until chapter 3, this video game was pretty good. then chapter 4 and 5 happened. I'm so fucking confused and I'm gonna say my opinion as someone who only watched the gameplay. 1 the choices, who should have ENORMOUS consequences, did not have consequences at all? like... helping the policeman or saving ourselves... what was the point? what consequences had? or even telling safi we stand with her. whats the point? or the choiche of standing with gwen or taking the pendrive. what's the point of that if the pen drive didn't helped us at all and gwen still was friendly at the end? Fuck, what's the point of saving chloe or arcadia bay if nothing changes in the game, only the fucking messages that we don't even have to read to continue the game? 2 this last chapter did not explain at all everything? the timelines did combine? how? and why the fuck did they entering the storm lead to safi "entering" everyone? and this felt so much like the nightmare part of life is strange 1, so they did not even have that creativity. I know there's gonna be a sequel, but really? couldn't they at least close some of the plot and leaving us with a bigger open ending instead of this MCU shit? this was extremely disappointing. I'm sorry because i actually liked the first three chapter and didn't understand why everyone was against this game just because chloe was missing. can someone tell me if you made different choices you have a different ending? like if we end up with Amanda or the other one, or if chloe kinda appears or text us? idk this game really confused me edit: forgot the most important thing: who killed safi? was it max? HOW AND WHEN DID MAX KILL SAFI? like, max refused to shoot safi in chapter 5, then why would she shoot her in the first place? please if someone understood me, enlighten me because I'm going crazy over this
wow, what a disappointing ending. If they're already developing a sequel then they'd better get their shit together, granted, the writing for these games hasn't always been the greatest. I'm guessing for the next game they're just gonna bring together the entire cast of powered characters from across the games, that already seems to be the whole shtick for this one.
@@lukre366 as far as I know, there is no original ending. Especially considering that in official comics Chloe was alive but sometimes the ghosts of Arcadia Bay were shown alive too.
It's definitely mind powers. She said in a way that she could tap into other's minds and change their perception of her. Maybe she can tap into other areas of the brain and just hadnt done it. Kinda how Max can both change realities and travel through time, all dealing with the same core idea of spacetime.
Yesh, she's not shape-shifting. She's changing people's perception of her. That's telepathy because she can't change into whatever she wants, only people other people know. So someone who doesn't know her wouldn't see her shape-shifting at all.
OMG ! Max said that she was in a motel in ( Cleveland ) 😱 ! I love this video game so much and I've grown up with it, My hometown. Ohio is in the building ! ❤❤

I always hoped the focus of the series would be about trying to find out why these people have powers and a bigger story with that and then having them all unite and meet each other but I never thought it would actually happen! Wowser! This is crazy! 🤯
@@sugartonix Yeah I hope we get another one where they all meet and they find out what's going on. The storm from LiS one was referred to as an entity so who knows.

Down to MCU path or more like action genre isn't good idea imo, i expected that only matter of times we'll get more than 1 char that have superpower will meet each other in a game I wish Deck Nine aware of it, and try not to go that route If LiS : Double Exposure get DLC story, i'm curious to see how this gonna goes, hopefully they can make it better than base game Speaking of MCU stuff, personally Safi x Max conflict is more like X-Men
God, this game really is a low-quality fanfic that straight-up copies the original. No wonder they had to retcon the first game, desperately hoping that people wouldn't see there wasn't a single original thought in this. The devs hate Chloe and went out of their way to have her not in this game, yet made Safi a worse version of Chloe but with superpowers. And then they try to make it into the MCU. Dude, this is Life is Strange. It's about telling small, intimate stories about the bond between two people (Max and Chloe, Sean and Daniel, Tyler and Alyson). They missed the mark so hard on this.
The last decision should be kill/not kill Safi, I mean she is gonna leave either way, might as well make us feel like the amps are actually in stake. Unless they are going to follow up with an extra chapter that actually makes the agree/disagree option matter, it doesn’t really hold any weight tbh.
@@Brocoli_GreenGuy That’s what they have planned, but unless there is confirmation they are actively working on a part 2 or they have something done, it could always be cancelled. Especially if it doesn’t sell well.
I knew the story would end up going into some convoluted mess. I dislike this even more than True Colors (which I bought on day one release because I loved the series as a whole and wanted to support; it was also very expensive for a short game btw), but now I don't think I'd trust a non-main title Life is Strange game anymore. Sorry devs/writers...
With that said, thank you channel for uploading the full story so that I didn't have to spend. I also watched in 1.5x speed, LOL. Again, sorry for the brutal opinion devs/writers...
If lady max had went out that bathroom door some other Madson would have gotten on her all over again..whew that was close that bathroom stall exit came in handy for sure lol😊😊
The first two chapters were perfect, until the creators messed up. The story got very confusing onwards and it started making less and less sense as the story continued, for me it got corny and the idea of Safi having powers was horrible, this game had so much potential, all of it to just be wasted. What was the point of choices if all of them would just lead to the same ending? And what the fuck, Diamond has powers too? The thing is, it was not made by Don't Nod, I didn't really like these creators games, Life is Strange: Before the storm is the exception, it was an amazing introduction on who Rachel Amber was, True Colors was okay, I didn't like Wavelengths. But the games that were made by Don't Nod were beyond perfect, Life is Strange was the game, it made a huge impact on me, it will always be one of my favorites, words can't even explain how incredible the game was. Life is Strange 2 was such an experience, for me it was my favorite out of all Life is Strange games, it made a huge impact on me, it changed me as a person, this game showed the values of a loved one and beyond, I can't explain how good this game was as well as the first one. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit was such a short, but an incredible game/introduction game. I did enjoy this game, but it was too confusing, Safi having powers was a hell of a twist, it doesn't really fit the puzzle for me. And Diamond has powers too?? That ruined the game, there are others facts that ruined the game, such as Chloe hooking up with Victoria, the fuck. Don't get me wrong though, there were so many things that I loved about this game, but the story of it wasn't it. Sorry for such a negative outburst, I'm a huge Life is Strange fan and damn, this is too damn confusing, my brain feels like scrambled eggs, that have been scrambled over and over again.
There is no fucking way people are saying this isn't cool as fuck? we're taking the extra fucking step in the series and it's about to get REAL!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, I agree with you. I like that the stakes are a bit higher, although I do agree the way they executed that “final confrontation” was kinda convoluted.
extending the series is good, but seeing safi going villain routes in all choices doesn't make sense, knowing what kind of price she will pay for abusing her powers too much, right?.
Art is so subjective, it's really interesting to see all the different opinions. I loved this game, and think Hannah smashed it! Imagine the potential for Alex, Daniel, Diamond, Max & Safi all meeting. This opens up the LiS Universe in a huge way. Thanks for posting this playthrough so I can experience it. Appreciate it. Who was your personal favourite character? Mine has to be Amanda or Gwen.
Well i hope they bring back yhe charcters from Lif is Strange 2 and Colors. cause lil bro has some useful powers. Max is like the professor X of this universe
So next game it will be everyone from every game... Pretty much a team of superheroes with powers. So... Avengers or Justice League? Someone is gonna fly
From what i saw on comments about LiS : Double Exposure, i think i understand why people said this could be leading MCU/X-Men path, and i'm also expected that someday Max/Alex Chen (true colors)/Daniel (LiS 2) will meet another people who has superpower too. I said X-Men instead because what Safi did is like Magneto, gathering people who has superpower. Max could be like Prof X who will stop Safi if she hurts people. We know that Max Caulfield will returns, so i'm kinda curious how Max x Safi conflict gonna goes if this happens, i wish they really don't go that route (like more action MCU genre like people said) and i wish they can keep stay as usual. It'll be great if they can do it. Overall, it's pretty entertain to watched about story of Max even confusing at first, i wish we can see sequel story about other chars like Alex Chen and Daniel. Speaking of its storyline, from what i watched, i think i rated it 7,5/10. Not great, not bad either.

@@justgames6772 Here is the thing, our Max is affected by another Max. We also see clearly that the timeline split has effected things in Caledon. And really, does the game have to explain everything? The first game didn't.
This is the example when people put a lot of time and love into video games. It's messy but it's beautiful. I'm excited for more. Hopefully we get to see Sean & Daniel again like we did Max.
Wow, I hate this... As others wrote before, everything before chapter 4 looked great and I was really excited. Personally, I didn´t even care about Chloe not being there or the way they broke up. It`s life, life is strange ^^ and I think it would be weird to not have major differences in Max` lifestyle or for her to still be in contact with everyone 10 years ago. People grow apart. But what I really hated (apart from the whole lacking plot lol) is the character "development". Every character is lacking depth, especially Max.The way she hasn´t learned anything from the past. She didn´t change any traits. As a teenager, I liked her timid and often unsure ways, but you would think that after everything that happened and what she learned, she would show a bit more backbone, be more passionate, angry or anything really. The way she so quickly forgives Safi, even though Safi seriously fucked up... facepalm. Maybe I´m getting too old but it was hard for me to feel Safi´s pain and the way she deals with it. And is it just me and cultural differences or is it odd how close Max is to Yasmin and her students? Also I think that the grafic style just seems too ... mainstream idk. Everything seems so smooth, bright and superficial. Just like the plot. Where were the shocking plot twists? Did we even need the last chapter? Can someone help me remove the last two chapters from my memories? ^^ Thanks for playing though!
Does anyone know of a playthrough that saved Chloe? I saw the breakup stuff during early access, but wondering how the full game changes. Hoping for a scene with Chloe somewhere, like at the end, since it’s been a few days it would make sense if she heard about the storm and knew Max was probably involved lol
Yeah i know some TH-camr for that. Grant Keegan( he just done live stream chap5), Shinrrako, Podcast Now( his life Stream currectly chap2 ) and DomTheBomb( he play both Chloe alive and Chloe dead timeline )
I knew I was cooked when I saw people in the comments saying Episode 1&2 started off the game well, meanwhile I was hoping it got better when the full game released. 💀
So Diamond is gonna be the lead character for LIS6????? Damn, I'm on the edge of my seat there... And this is the part where I have decided that True Colors is still the best ones that LIS has ever made...
It feels like a rollercoaster, it initially goes all up, soaring , and then just drops. The ending was so empty, and this lasy chapter just felt a copy paste of the first Lis
Double exposure & true colors are such big, fat, fucking disappointments. I can watch play-throughs of lis 1&2 and never get bored. But It’s like pulling teeth trying to become invested in the story and characters of the recent games. So heartbroken over what could be, and angry at the road the franchise has gone down. They solely profited off of Max and Hannah’s performance. Without her no one would care about this game.
I LOVED this game up until we learned Safi has powers. I feel like that was only done for the sake of a plot twist. Like, we expected people acting weird to be because of the alternate timeline, not because Safi was pretending to be other people. Also I really cant understand why Safi broke into Max's house shapeshifted as Max. Like, obviously even if she didnt know it was Safi, Max would be totally freaked out seeing herself. And Safi didnt expect Max to find her, so why was the prepared by looking like Max? Also, if Safis powers work by her "going into someones mind and making them see her differently", why did she jump when Max found her? Like, if she was going into Max's mind and changing her perception, shouldnt she have sensed Max's presence and known she was nearby?
Safi's real power is actually just mind manipulation, and sub category right now which she can fully control is just mind perception and she calls it shapeshifting (when it really aint)
I was watching it to see if I should buy it but to be honest.....I am not gonna do that! Maybe I got to old for this kinda games but I dont like this anymore.
At this point just buy it on very cheap discount that’s if you wanna have it in your LIS collection. Bcos even I’m like uhhhh maybe I’ll wait or maybe not get it at all 😂
Игра по итогу очень сомнительная. С одной стороны она крутая, но с другой стороны она кажется странной. Вот блин действительно странная жизнь. Не знаю что сказать пока, надо это все обдумать.
That ending was a little lackluster, so Life is Strange is becoming the MCU? I mean, don't get me wrong it is cool to see someone else have powers too but lets not overdo it.
I am generally so confused how everyone at the end knows max has powers, if anyone can explain I would appreciate it cus this thought is annoying me lol
This ending was satisfying, but also a bit mysterious because I feel like now because of Max choice now everybody’s abilities are awakening. Hopefully they make another life is strange.
48:03 safi at this point is pissing me off, did we not just have a moment on something we agreed on and resisted twice, and then now you’re saying the same exact thing we just agreed on not doing. I’m not joking when I say she’s actually annoying me, I almost dropped a f bomb out loud to at this scene Edit: okay so I guess the ending was fine, it feels pretty much like that ending was suppose to be an awakening of everyone else’s power because now diamond’s nose is kind of hinting at that. The only issue was I had is how safi acted in this episode…as I explained above. Other than that I think I liked it I guess.
this was so bad :( it's sad because i was really excited when i watched the two first episodes but... there's nothing memorable about this one, it just feels empty.
Okay uhhh well outside how much of a whack that time storm... So basically Max fixed everyone and placed her essence out and basically kind of fixed the storm as well?? Anyways, uhhh outside of the whacked story uhhh its nice Maz has a place she belongs in now that accepts her. Actually I wouda preferred like 2 or 3 strangers just running away from her yelling she's a monster because everyone has different perspectives, but yeah it was all positive vibes at the end which is cool I guess. Now the story is approaching to an end to Max accepting herself I guess, but now theres the shapeshifter girl gathering superpower members.
I thought the first, second, and third chapters were okay. By no means a cinematic masterpiece or anything, but simply okay and I enjoyed the atmosphere so it was at least entertaining. Giving Safi powers was an interesting choice, but I thought it could work in the hands of good writers. We need Dontnod back, DeckNine has butchered the series.

Oh come on! It’s not that bad.
No this game is amazing
Fr fr things went downhill after LIS2
@@potatopotatoesbroMore like after lis 1 😂
Soo.... They want to "create something new" by using bathroom scene from LiS 1? And the storm is back? Like the newcomers would understand the reference?
And suddenly it's about superpowers now? Since when LiS become MCU? they thought MCU stands for Max Caulfield Universe? Jokes on them.
And the choices didn't matter since it's has same result anyway. What's the point of important choice when the results still same. (E.g Yasmin still get shot, Safi still gone on villain path, etc)
What a mess.
LIKE THE BUILD UP WAS SO GOOD BUT THIS?? THIS IS A DISASTER. DID THEY TRY AN ILLUSION OF PLAYER AGENCY APPROACH WITH THIS 😭😭 I CAN'T TELL
MCU = Max Caulfield Universe 😂
Max Caulfield Universe, that's pretty funny
1. It was a flashback scene, it makes sense that that event lead to major trauma for max
2. ? was this game ever marketed for newcomers lol
3. it has always been about superpowers... "super-max"
the game is good, if anything its short, people are just pressed that theres no chloe
The games always had super powers so Im not understanding the mcu thing
15:29 bro max saying this broke me
:(( max has been having nightmares of what went down in that bathroom with chloe for 10 years god that's so gut-wrenching. that means that even if she did decide to save chloe she still has go through the the fear of saving her again and again in her nigthmares and hoping that her rewind powers would work to save her.
Am I the only one who thinks this game is a convoluted mess?
I love seeing Max but wtf is this Avengers BS getting roped in hahaha
@ They hate Chloe and are turning this into LIS Marvel Avengers universe. :/
@@TurbidTG1 LIKE LITERALLY?? CHLOE GETS NO GOOD END WHETHER OR NOT SHE LIVES OR DIES AND SAFI'S POWERS ARE LIKE "Omg cool reveal! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE STORY WRITING BROOOO? THEY SHOULD'VE TOOK A PAGE OUT OF LIS2 WRITING
No, you're not.
That’s the point of Life is Strange, there is no order in the story and it’s up to you what you going to do
until chapter 3, this video game was pretty good. then chapter 4 and 5 happened.
I'm sorry because i actually liked the first three chapter and didn't understand why everyone was against this game just because chloe was missing. can someone tell me if you made different choices you have a different ending? like if we end up with Amanda or the other one, or if chloe kinda appears or text us? idk this game really confused me
edit: forgot the most important thing: who killed safi? was it max? HOW AND WHEN DID MAX KILL SAFI? like, max refused to shoot safi in chapter 5, then why would she shoot her in the first place? please if someone understood me, enlighten me because I'm going crazy over this
There is another timeline that is covered in the polaroid collectables. That Max killed Safi.
wow, what a disappointing ending. If they're already developing a sequel then they'd better get their shit together, granted, the writing for these games hasn't always been the greatest. I'm guessing for the next game they're just gonna bring together the entire cast of powered characters from across the games, that already seems to be the whole shtick for this one.
thats the ending ahahahahahahaha yeeesh
Am I the only one disappointed with chapters 4-5?
Nope ur not that shit was weak asf
The game is absolutely amazing, but… someone was definitely missing there 💔 It's still a different universe in my head. Miss Chloe 🦋

I know we can argue up and day about this plot, but what are Safi’s powers? Mind possession? Mental link? It’s definitely more than shape shifting.
I wonder if it’s temporal in a way like Max’s.
Life is strange becoming the x men lol
Max = Xavier
Safi= magneto and Mystique
combine max and safi to create onslaught: a bigger, badder version of what happens when someone, who's going thru incosolable rage, renders her friend catatonic to bring out a malevolent mutant
I always hoped the focus of the series would be about trying to find out why these people have powers and a bigger story with that and then having them all unite and meet each other but I never thought it would actually happen! Wowser! This is crazy! 🤯
Tbh it seems all the kids with powers will meet soon
I hope decknine never makes another life is strange game. Don'tnod needs to take over again
@@sugartonix Yeah I hope we get another one where they all meet and they find out what's going on. The storm from LiS one was referred to as an entity so who knows.

why are people surprised the life is strange became the mcu? we literally have a kid with telekinesis, a girl with telepathy, and another girl with shapeshifting/telepathy powers!
heck maybe even rachel has nature powers after making a forest fire. it's been obvious that the life is strange universe has mutants.
Yes but the MCU route is a weird choice
Down to MCU path or more like action genre isn't good idea imo, i expected that only matter of times we'll get more than 1 char that have superpower will meet each other in a game
I wish Deck Nine aware of it, and try not to go that route
If LiS : Double Exposure get DLC story, i'm curious to see how this gonna goes, hopefully they can make it better than base game
Speaking of MCU stuff, personally Safi x Max conflict is more like X-Men
God, this game really is a low-quality fanfic that straight-up copies the original.
I read that management was upset with Ashly Burch. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had a grudge 10 years later
Chill I want to see where it goes, let them cook, if they want to make it MCU so be it, they have powers for a reason, let them become someone new

@ the comics aren’t canon, but this is. It is confirmed.
39:12 someone please tell me the name of this song
There is no fucking way people are saying this isn't cool as fuck? we're taking the extra fucking step in the series and it's about to get REAL!!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, I agree with you. I like that the stakes are a bit higher, although I do agree the way they executed that “final confrontation” was kinda convoluted.
extending the series is good, but seeing safi going villain routes in all choices doesn't make sense, knowing what kind of price she will pay for abusing her powers too much, right?.
Hell yes Valariny
I think it's interesting but honestly thought it more of "why was she given that power" but now it's more of...the power bends my normalcy
It's just a deck 9 Just took out a page out of marvels End
I cant wait for "drama filled X-Men"! The next game is gonna be a riot!

Art is so subjective, it's really interesting to see all the different opinions. I loved this game, and think Hannah smashed it! The series is getting worse and worse. The first part was perfect.
I feel like they needed a bigger budget and more time cause its giving rushed. Still enjoyable but episode 2 is definitely the strongest.
So basically life is strange 1 but ending in the paths of the avengers end game
This nightmare sequence was so gooddddd imo?!?! I loved this game!
Not great, not bad either.
in the end, i do agree this is very confusing. the killer is never explained of killing safi or who it really was.
like max never killed safi and she's like "future me" and like wtf is she talking about. so max didn't kill safi, but max did? this game is so confusing like who ACTUALLY killed safi. yes we know safi can shapeshift but we know it's impossible for her to literally make a person appear in front of her looking like max and shoot her. so, i'm literally questioning. WTF is going on?? i really liked this game and it's story, but it's last 2 episodes were rushed and the writing was messy. like WHO KILLED SAFI BRO
It was another Max who did it, the timeline of the polaroid collectables.
@@txgoldrush still makes no sense. where is the other max? where did she come from? how is the photo in max's world? she also might be a timeline shifter too but still makes no sense.

DONTNOD PLEASE COME BACK AND SAVE LIFE IS STRANGE FROM DECKNINE
Thanks for playing though!
She doesn't physically appear in the game but she texts Max after the storm but Max doesn't answer her message.
@@mstudio7970 typical max.

So Diamond is gonna be the lead character for LIS6????? Damn, I'm on the edge of my seat there...
And this is the part where I have decided that True Colors is still the best ones that LIS has ever made...
Man, you skip so many dialogues and its kinda a bother to watch😢
It feels like a rollercoaster, it initially goes all up, soaring , and then just drops. The ending was so empty, and this lasy chapter just felt a copy paste of the first Lis
Double exposure & true colors are such big, fat, fucking disappointments. I can watch play-throughs of lis 1&2 and never get bored. But It’s like pulling teeth trying to become invested in the story and characters of the recent games. So heartbroken over what could be, and angry at the road the franchise has gone down. They solely profited off of Max and Hannah’s performance. Without her no one would care about this game.
My tears went to waste for lis 1 shouldve just kept chloe alive lmfao if there's more people who have powers in this game. SAVE THE BAE FUCK ITT

this game alone single-handedly made me hate the entire Life is strange franchise 😂
what a way to destroy dontnod masterpiece. i guess, this is not life is strange anymore.
Episode 1 and 2 were peak, and each episode after was dwindling bit by bit each episode, I need like a summary of what happened from a to b.
Oh boy, I don’t enjoy nightmare scenes like this, but I think siding with safi is a better choice.

This ending was satisfying, but also a bit mysterious because I feel like now because of Max choice now everybody’s abilities are awakening. Hopefully they make another life is strange.

Edit: okay so I guess the ending was fine, it feels pretty much like that ending was suppose to be an awakening of everyone else’s power because now diamond’s nose is kind of hinting at that.
