Good job and happy that beast fired up with the points rod replacement. I know that feeling. There is promise for my 47 Lightfour then but it will have to wait until the spring as its 15°F outside and i dont have a heated shop. Take care!

Wow! Very cool. I was given a 18 hp Evinrude 30 years ago, really similar design. It’s called a speedy Twin . Has 4 plugs BIG ones. Are they firing 2 plugs per cylinder at the same time??

Sounds like a Speedifour. A Speeditwin would only have 2 cylinders.
