The motor featured in this video is a 1984 Evinrude 15 hp. This video covers testing of the ignition system with a multi meter "ohms". The fundamentals of this test can be applied to range of other horsepowers and different motors of this era. The parameters for testing in this video are unique to this motor. Awesome video man, couldn’t get my 35 started until I watched this since I didn’t understand the ohms. Ended up finding a wire that runs to the stator was split and grounding out. Runs better then ever, thank you sir!
