- This is a video where I’m giving you my first impressions on the Infamous Spyderco Slysz Bowie. This is the KnifeJoy exclusive of the Marcin Slysz and Spyderco collaboration, with Böhler M390 steel and anodized handle scales. These are no longer available, at the time of this video release, but there has been talk of more runs to come.

Beautiful folder, I dig Spydercos. Currently I'm into sheepsfoot and wharncliff edges so the bowie isn't on my radar. How about a review on the swayback, most of the reviews I saw on it weren't favorable and I would like to hear what you have to say about it.
I definitely want to do a review on the swayback. I was pleasantly surprised personally, and do want to talk about it. I will try to slip it in, but I have a lot to catch up on haha
I would love to hear a final conclusions video after more usage if you still own it, very cool knife 👍

Hi a hawe question on recon1 i bought 3 renos two in tanto and one in spear point an i decaidet am gona buy more spear point and it was around July and the shop dont have it in stock so they order it and when i unbox it it was bit diferent the logo on the blade is diferent and the scales are smuther and is so noice so i bought nather one ano its alsow with smoth scales and diferent logo . So is it now maked diferently and i coud expekt diferent heat treat or it shoud be the same ? Coud it be theat i live in europ ? I can not find any information about thet do you know anything about thet or doas anyone ? Thanks

Three years of regular price increases would have raised price to 350-375, add in the m390 and the ano process and $400 is reasonable. Cheers for your return, hope life is treating to at least interesting times.
I missed out on the original, and I missed out on the drop. I got lucky when I came across a guy just trying to recoup his money. He took one look and it wasn’t for him, but it’s got me written all over it. I love it, but the finish is sensitive, I already got some snail trails from my keys accidentally brushing across the back of the scales. I wish the clip was a little further away from the relief cut. I took it off and tried bending it a bit, and took a little tension off, so it’s a little better. I kinda wish it had a lock bar insert, but it’s a tried and true method, and my sebenza 21 has never failed me. Overall, this is probably my favorite spyderco.
RGT wire clip is awesome, but you may have to bend it also
Nice man. Glad you got to snag one. A lot of amortizations are sensitive to snail trails like that, especially that kind of finish. It would be nice if the lock bar relief was on the inside, or the the clip placement was different, but I’ve gotten use to getting around snagging, since a lot of knives I’ve had are like that. You could definitely bend it, but it might nit fix the problem completely.

"A poor man's Sebenza"...$400... 🤔 ....though it may be a good knife and I like it, it can never compare to a Sebenza or Hinderer, etc. Too much hype and it just propiciates a raise of prices in general. 😊👍
I 100 percent agree. I only compare them because others have, but it’s no comparison in my opinion.

way overpriced , I own the Sebenza 21 like your showing hear, I just don't understand why people keep comparing Theas two knifes!
I agree, and that’s why I brought it up, because people constantly compare them.
I think it's a hugely overrated knife. But then again I am left-handed and would never get one. It looks like another take on the Sebenza to me.
This guy's knives are all overpriced, although they seem very well put together. But all the Taiwan Spydercos are uptight and outta sight.
You repeat yourself a LOT. I think your videos could be close to half their length if you didn't repeat yourself so much. Just trying to be honest and helpful. Next time you make a video, LISTEN to yourself during editing and cut out the things you've already said once. Seriously, give it a try and you'll see what I'm talking about. Best of luck!
