    the car does 0-60 in 5.8-6 1 seconds. def not 8. did u ever try using the click at the end of the pedal when doing full acceleration?

      I have a 2011 Maxima with 141,000 miles (bought new with 6 miles) with zero problems! Original battery even, I only run premium fuel and follow the service intervals to the T! The older CVT's in 2010 and prior Maxima's we semi unreliable from what I've heard. 2011 and newer Maxima's have very little issues.

      Curious as to what grade fuel you put in your car? I have a 2013 and in the manual its recommended that you use regular 87.

      my mom had a 2013 3.5 SV in white and she traded it for a maxima in 2017☹️ the maxima was nice but there’s no such thing as a v6 altima anymore

    man, new cars these days are very nice, but I am so gonna hate working on all the crap that goes wrong on them in 10 years.

    • @hanksgarage_
      @hanksgarage_  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +paradoxdesigns yea I agree, Im still not sold on the CVTs though. I mean Idk how you can get much more than 100k out of them, the band wears out quick by its own design.

    I am planning to buy a 2015 Nissan Altima 3.5 SL and the mileage is 114,321. The dealer is asking for the price of $7,760. Should I go ahead with this deal if the car is in good condition?

    • @hanksgarage_
      @hanksgarage_  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I wouldn’t. The longevity of the automatics in these cars is not that great.

    • @awkwardsanchez6231
      @awkwardsanchez6231 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn’t by that for any car....

      Nah,too much$$$ imo. I just bought a 2016 Altima 3.5 SL for basically 13,000,also had 49,000 on it...All premium features, I'm loving it so far

    • @texan903
      @texan903 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're great cars when properly maintained. If you are lax with the maintenance, the car will be a nightmare to own.

  • @motherlover505
    @motherlover505 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    My 2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 could go 0-60 in 5.9 seconds so I doubt that an 2015 is slower.

    • @hanksgarage_
      @hanksgarage_  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yours didn’t have a CVT so idk what else

    • @motherlover505
      @motherlover505 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hanksgarage_ I even looked it up online just to double check and the 3.5 engines are capable of going 0-60 in 5.9 seconds (I expected a change in those times but it's whatever) and the 2.5 engines are 0-60 in 7.9 seconds

    • @cedricmiller2167
      @cedricmiller2167 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @motherlover505 you might not believe me but the 2006 Altima 3.5v6 actually feels more aggressive than the newer Altima v6 I think it's because of the CVT transmissions in the newer Altimas

    • @steven7297
      @steven7297 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cedric Miller well yea cause cvt is made to drive smoother and reward those who drive speed limit and if you want just shift to sport mode for 10seconds the 2.4cl sv 2015 zooms pretty good
