I have the DF3 and love it. It's by far the best purchase I've ever made in golf. There's no such thing as a magic putter, but it comes close to performing that way.
The Link 1.0 is made of stainless steel, I have this putter & it is amazing, I never got fitted, but I use 34” & the 69° lie is right for me. Unfortunately in the UK I’ve not seen any of these in pro shops yet, so I can’t try any out, but I am seriously thinking of getting properly fitted & trying different models as soon as they become more available. Having said that I’ve never hit a putter out the middle & on my chosen line before I got the Link 1.0, so the LAB putter’s most definitely work much better than anything else I’ve ever tried.
100% agree, the link1 is amazing and I love mine also. The OZ1i is definitely worth a try though. The online fitting would be interesting for you to do 😁
Yes I can tell my putter is pretty much spot on for my build & putting style, I think I’ll wait to try them before I order a custom fit, so many different feels from the different types of putter, face insert & material, which can’t be experienced from online fitting.
@ that is true, there’s also a number of individual LAB fitters who are golf pros in the UK, you should try find one of them. The stores may not have the putters but the fitting pros will
You’re right, there’s one just over an hour from me, maybe I’ll book a fitting & trial, would be nice to try the different shafts too. Thanks for your help 👍
LAB sending me the Mezz 1 MAX. I play an armlock style putter and at the moment the don’t offer the OZ or LINK in that customization. I’d love to see your thoughts on the Mezz
What do you think about the weight of the oz? I currently have the link and the df3, but the df3 doesn’t work for me with distance control like the link does. I was thinking about trying the OZ with the lightweight option
Hi David, I have just brought my son a launch monitor for Xmas & I was wondering what would be the best net that I could get? We have plenty of room & he just loves golf he if 15. I would really like your help! Thanks Matt.
@@nataliesimmonds8956 hey 👋 I would suggest if it’s going to be a more permanent outdoor net then checkout the 24/7 golf BYO outdoor package. I have a discount code for those DMAX200 but if you’re wanting to put it up and down a lot then the Spornia SPG-7 is great
@ well I can tell you that for me the shaft lean at 2* was better than without but I’ve never tried the CB. I do like to feel the putter head weight though but that’s a personal preference
i think its too much guys, the tec gone way too far, whats next in golf? lazer sight on the putter? this is not golf.. its about skills and practise and reading the green. if you have a putter going straight through the stroke you take out the skill. dont argue on this we all know its true!
@@davidmaxfieldgolf im not bashing you or other users, its aproved and allowed on tours. i simply think we gone too far with the tec. use it and make birdies enjoy your game. but for me im staying with my regular putter. cheers mate.
@@Starboi1337and we can assume you’re still using persimmon woods then? It’s not new tech, it’s simply weighting a putter head differently albeit it’s a specific patented approach. What is your choice? Link1 or OZ1i?
New OZ1 looks the goods I think 🔥

Never come across these before but definitely gonna take a closer look.

I have mates who have the Mezz and they think it’s one of the best putters ever made. I’d love to review that also

If you like the weight of the link then get the standard OZ1, it's actually a touch lighter than the link.
What are your specs? Are they the same for both?
Yes 👍🏼 69* lie angle and 36’ length
Have you tested out the counterbalanced version of any of the Lab Golf putters?
Not as yet but I am a big fan of counter balance

Did you try the oz1 with no shaft lean
I haven’t yet no, I do really like the shaft lean though. Kinda helps with consistency
