Thanks for the video. Remember the videos you did a few years ago with David Edel about how putter head shapes and lines affect your aim? We all have an aim bias. I would love to see you get fit for LAB putter with the laser to see what alignment option works best for you. If I remember correctly a single line on the back of the putter worked best for you. With so many options from LAB it would be interesting to see how the alignment options affect aim during a fitting. Enjoy your new putter.
Oh yea!! Definitely remember that. Every putter has an impact on how your aim. It’s about finding those match ups. Now I can tell without the laser what is making me aim which way. We have another video coming with guys at Ping talking about another way to approach aim bias. Make sure to check that out. Good perspective.
This was really helpful! Especially seeing the colors and alignment close up and in action. I was leaning towards charcoal and the D2 alignment but was not sure, now I am. Thanks a lot.
Awesome video! I was split on color in the same way... Charcoal, green and cappuccino were my favorites in that order. Went with charcoal but it took me a few days to decide (LAB was nice enough to accommodate my indecisiveness and make a change after I had already ordered). After this video I'm super happy with my decision! Still not sure if I made the right call on shaft lean, but both options seem great. Can't wait for it to arrive!
Hope you watch this video back... maybe its just the angle but you look wide open with the shoulders and a real pop stroke with recoil....not saying this is bad just what it looks like..... Love the fitting part....gaming a DF3 and loving it
Centre shafted putters period have advantages for some golfers. This is mostly where the positives are. Yes, I have done my homework. 😊 Left eye dominant for starters.
Still can’t believe the alignment sights is such a wide open process. Edel at least has some idea, but how can consumers choose from 700-odd combinations, it’ll affect their sales negatively. There’s got to be some R&D that can prove optimal sight lines based on eye dominance/ball position, putter position, head shape in some combination?…
@@StylesE36 I have heard that, but Adam was using a prototype back in September at the president's cup (seems strange it would take this long). I have a conspiracy theory that Adam likes the Mez better than the putter he designed.
@@adkjfasldkfit does take this long. We launched the standard first as planned. The proto you saw in the Pres Cup was a quick version early on to get some feedback. I run the team that designed it with him 😉.
Not sure what about this is a “fitting”. I am surprised there is no SAM putt lab or quintic ball roll at LAB golf so they can do comparisons on stroke from a standard putter or gamer putter to the lab putter to show what the difference is between the two. That way they can clearly show the improvement, if there is one to each individual player. It should also be noted that lie angle balanced isn’t for everyone
They had some of those tools but we didn’t dive into that. More just wanted to see the feels of the different putters. Especially easy when they had all the options built and ready to go there.

Very cool video, LAB should have a contest or drawing for an in person putter fitting at headquarters

The charcoal is just so slick.

Funny you say this. Might have gotten some insight into this in some future videos coming out! 😁. Been working with a metronome lately.

Do you recommend any fitters for LAB in the Denver area?
Great video and awesome looking putter! Giveaway soon? :)
Do you like the Oz more than the DF3?
Really wishing i could get one
Do it!
@golfsciencelab well let me tell you, as a new father, it's difficult to justify spending 700 on a new putter ( as much as I want to)

Crazy how they don't have a higher end putting surface to test on. 😅😅
Why is Adam Scott not using the putter?
Sweeper version isn’t quite done yet. Soon

i think Adam used in the recent match

It literally is for everyone

1:24 "He knows what hes talking about"
Talking about one of the weakest putting strokes in all of golf hahahaha
He's actually one of the best putters in the world the last four years with LAB
