hey !! thanks! It a labor of love to make content that can help people. Would love to see your build too. We will be at the MOORE Expo this year in the story tellers area if you can make it stop by.
Looks Great Shannon! nice job buddy! Looking forward to testing mine out! just waiting for some warmer weather here in Canada! lol .. still below freezing!
@sfbigdawg not sure what you mean about switching it with the redarc. The water heater is on the mount joolca sales and the bolded to the mollie panel.
@@OverlandTrailsAdventures I think I was thinking you used the Manager30 to switch everything off and on from a central control panel. Was thinking you could use that for switching the pump off and on as well so you didn't have to go inside to the switch.
@sfbigdawg that's a great idea but i dont have the vision system. Back then, I was not so advanced..lol Now, on our new rig, I programmed the redarc rougue to control the starlink..lol
I'm thinking about mounting my gas outside my truck like you have but was wondering if there's any danger having it in direct sunlight for long periods of time? I'm in the Australian desert and it gets realy hot here
Thanks for another great vid!! Have you taken any locking precautions to keep the exterior items like your awning, Joolca, etc from hiking away while you are on a hike or otherwise not near your truck? In my mind's dream config, a have a molle secured across the inside, but on the outside of the Alu Cab tank, where the Joolca would be on the passenger side, and accessible through the front hatch.
the awning is secured from bolds on the inside and the propane tank holder locks. looking at locks for the joolca. but yea, it's a slight concern. anyone can streel anything with the right determination..lol
hey its a Harkorr light i got from CB Adventure Supply www.cbadventuresupply.com/collections/vehicle-lighting/products/hard-korr-tri-color-45-angled-led-work-or-porch-light
Just stumbled across your TH-cam page. Enjoying your videos. Just fyi,,, it’s a water heater NOT a HOT water heater… Ya don’t need to heat hot water!!!😊😊😊
Just got my au-cab canopy camper for my Tacoma. Been watching your videos for inspiration. Keep em coming! Thanks!

Is that a 5 or 10 lb propane tank you have there on the back?
hey,
it's a 10lbs on an expedition essentials holder.
@@OverlandTrailsAdventures cool I ordered one today! Says back ordered so who knows when I’ll get it!

lol dont blame ya a Canadian frozen camp doesn't sound that fun 🤣
Where did you get the connections for the cold water hose to the heater? Is that green hose joolca hose or just a normal water hose?
hey, great question. I got a short garden hose from Lowes and some connectors to switch male to female as needed.
Thx for the overview. Curious why you didn’t switch it with the Redarc? How’s it held up inside the bag?

@@OverlandTrailsAdventures I'd like to see that. I've been debating mini vs standard starlink.
@@sfbigdawg I did a video on it a few weeks ago. We didn't go with the mini due to mixed reviews about reception.

Interesting...I haven't heard of any problems like that but it is something to research and make sure of.
Nice setup. I’m looking for ideas for my Go Fast Camper
if you have any ideas we can kick them around. outer molle panels can be a good option.
Is the zip completely waterproof? Water coming in the top could create a rust problem inside the water heater.
That might be a issue at some point. Not sure if the manufacturer thought of that
Heck yeah bud! See y’all at MOORE!
thanks for great and compleete video
your welcome. more to come!!
