Don't be like me, just buy the correct fuel lines.. Both parts for flex and non flex fuel are linked in the description!

Hi Matt. I was thinking if your deleting the Flex fuel maybe remove the Flex fuel sticker on the gas filler door. I watched you video on the brake lines and as I blew a line I was wondering if the parts for your 04 are the same as an 03 Z71 ? I wanna go Stainless brake lines and replace the Flex fuel lines as I've been running on E85 since gas prices went up. Adl question what is your Z71 avg gas MPG ? I Picked my Z71 from my neighbor in Oct 2021 and he's not one to pay attention to MPG's nor am I but the drivers information center says I'm averaging 6.9 to 7.0 MPG on E85 and maybe 3 tenths of a mile more on Super or Reg. I was getting 6.6 MPG till I replaced the Air filter. It seems to run smooth but im dumbfounded to why as it should get around 15-18 I even removed the third row seating to save weight. I'm might get on it on the Expressway but not in town. I believe it only has 94k. I have so many questions for you like how do I find a shop that does HP Tunning here on long Island? Hope you answer. A loyal follower Eddie J. Ps. Install GasBuddy on your phone and you can locate E85 stations and find the best prices on gas or diesel in town or as your driving someplace as the app uses your GPS. Hope that helps.

So you bought the fuel line I would need for my 2003 hoe 😂. Mines only 4.8l 4x4 LS Tahoe 2003 with Bose and 145 amp alt my goal is to keep engine the little guy upgrade radiator, fans first then upgrade transmission, fuel lines , and fuel pump then move on to engine. The hoe only has 286,000 miles with original engine and transmission 😂 she is literally a classic now next year she'll be old enough to drink maybe I'll give her shot fuel additives.

Yeah I need to do my gas lines on a GMC cut fan 14 ft 1983.. I know it's going to be a beast of a job.. worst case scenario,i will get a new f****** gas tank too maybe too, but the first thing I got to check is the fuel pump I'll put a line on it and see if it's pumping into a little Jerry can gas tank.. I looked at the gas line and it's metal and then it's rubber metal and rubber hose that connects to the inlet, the outlet of the fuel pump goes to the carburetor is metal lying but someone snipped it and put rubber with hose clamps.. so I'm hoping I can just get some 1 inch fuel line or whatever it is half inch

It was strange it was running for like a half an hour idle and perfect then I took a started like just driving it up and back and forth the driveway and then it died and then it won't get no gas in the carburetor so I put a new fuel pump in it and that was a f****** bastard too I had this little push rod in it that kept f****** falling down it took me f****** 6 hours to put that f****** fuel pump in talk about a f****** nightmare I had to make this little thing a wire that I would hook the pin up and then slide the fuel pump in.. took like 20 f****** trys.. but I finally got it thank you Lord

I need some help. This is what I "THINK" happened to my 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71, 4wd. I "THINK" the battery was failing so the computer turned off the Body Control Module to shut down to conserve energy. Things like, windows, door locks, gauges, radio and AC. The driving functions, things like wipers, headlights and cruise control still had power.
Finally, there wasn't enough power to restart the engine. I installed a new battery and it started right up and drove 150 miles home, but the BCM systems were still not working. Although, the windows and radio did function whenever they felt like it for a few seconds and then would stop.
The alternator was always at 14.1 to 14.8 even on the dying battery. Do's the BCM need to be rebooted after the battery change or a situation like this? Any other thoughts? Anybody?

Hope you read my comment and respond even though the video is 6 months old. I have a '93 GMC 1500 Truck that the fuel lines are leaking on because it was in Iowa for the first 12 years of it's life and the road salt rusted them out. The entire underside is extremely rusty but the body is still good because I had it "Steel Sealed" when I bought it new in '93. OEM steel lines are no longer available and nylon lines are my only affordable option. I can't do the work myself due to my health and have to have an auto repair shop do it for me. Only 1 of the 4 shops I contacted would do it, but it will be a first for them and I am concerned about their ability and speed (they charge $100 per hour labor). I am retired and don't have a lot of money and don't really want to sink any more than necessary in the truck to keep it running. Do you have any advice for me?

There is a fuse in the fuse box under the hood that controls the flex fuel sensor. You need to lift the box up, check the two wires that run to that fuse because it controls the purge valve under the hood as well. Wiggle the wires and make sure it's seated properly. I had that code on my 04 and after digging into the wiring and checking things out, I made sure that connection to that fuse was good and clean and tight and I never had the code come back. The sensor itself does not go bad very often. The only real way to properly check the readings on the sensor are with a GM TECH2 scan tool or an expensive tool truck scanner. Trust me on this, I spent months on my truck with this damn code. The sensor isn't bad. And while the wiring may look okay, it's probably ever so slightly loose.
