I'm actually a fan of his out of the box thinking and off-the-pitch and training methods. When I was younger, I played both football and did ballet and it did help with both. Football gave me strength and stamina, ballet helped with flexibility, pace, balance. Since ballet works differently on your tendons, muscles it can actually help with resistance to injury. The more Art-focused side can be great for team-building and that's exactly what we need right now. Potter seems like someone who is actually interested in growing and developing players and forming a team and I love that 😊
Hi Nick, great insight.. I'm excited to see how Potter goes after watching a video by Zekko Football on how West Ham will set up under Potter's system. If it pans out that way is quite exciting.
I just watched that video as well. It is a great setup for when Bowen is back on the pitch. But what I like most about Potter is that he seems to build a system according to the strengths of the players he's got instead of trying to force them into his rigid system and play everyone out of position.
I'm so bought into Project Potter now. We will win it all due to Big Potter Energy. Graham is the time it's the place it's the motion, Graham is the way we are feeling.
If Potter gets us better organised in defence (new CB required) and gets the squad to believe in his ways he'll be a good appointment compared to Lopi. The tactics you mention reminded me of Cresswell being really creative from left side of a back 3 a few years ago. Shame he's not 28 as I think hed have done well for Potter.
Potter is a great addition. His concepts are compatible with the WH way. He'll bring youth, pace and athleticism to the team as well as confident football. He needs time because working for Sullivan must be a head f@%k. Good luck and finally we have a man whose ideas are about exciting football with clinical passing. 🙂
He’ll be licking his chops at the youth players that could be utilized in the first team, pretty sure they were FA cup winners back in 22/23 got a bright bunch of youth and maybe could even get a tune out of Guilherme 🤞🏼
I feel like hammer chat made a signing under the radar too 😂 all for it. Wanted moyes out to change the way we played. It's not worked and we've replaces him now before it's too late. All for it. I wanted Potter or BvB coach. Just hope I'm not wrong about him. Chelsea was a basket case when he was their and it was never gonna work width anyone in charge.
Great video Nick! Though might be worth tilting your camera angle slightly as it makes you appear like 'Zippy' from Rainbow with just a head and hand waving around. Cheers!
If you're referring to the North London Forever song, that was actually a song before Arsenal started using it, its by Louis Dunford, was quite surprised when I heard it properly as a song, but its a good one
@FlowDeFlowDrainageit does sound familiar. Sounds like the first 2 years of Moyes. Not the last 2 though (20/38 defeats and 74 goals conceded) - you people just seem to ignore that though…
@@jamesgunn7 Fair point, but while we are being fair consider the following. We got to half way 30 goals conceded 33 points. Finished with 19 points and 44 goals conceded. What happened? At the front: Kudus 1 month at AFCON, Antonio out for 3 months, Paqueta out for six weeks, Bowen out oor two weeks all at the same time. At the back Aguerd injured and then off to AFCON. Mavropanos error magnet. Zouma legs finally gave out, no longer protected by Rice. We are not Man City, our squad isn't that deep. We needed to sign quality centre back but the Harry Maguire deal fell through and we ended up with Mavropanos. Two own goals two assists for the opposition and numerous other errors. No surprise that Lopetegui blew a lot of his budget on defenders, just could not reorganise it in time. If we had landed Maguire we would probably be back in Europe. Still onwards and upwards.
As a Brighton fan GP is a good manager who will be good for you if you give him time. Not sure if he improves players. We went for long periods of not winning games. We werer never in any danger of going down, but he was boring. Only in the final few months he was with us did he really start to play attractive football. In the end he cut and ran and took 5 or 6 of the key back room staff with him to Chelsea . In conclusion he done a good job at the Albion but is not made welcome back by the vast majority of Brighton fans whenever he returns. He will do well for you, but dear me he is boring and I would not want him anywhere near the Albion again, BHAFC.
Potter may not have the best stats but he’s a massive upgrade. Lopetegui was way out of his depth. His tactics were awful, he played players out of position. He got into physical fights with them, got sent off a few times, couldn’t get his point across, was not up to working in the PL. Potter will be an upgrade but will he be able to work with the egos. His man management skills will be needed.
Absolutely devastating!! Yet again the cheapest, uninspiring, underwhelming and DEMORALISING choice for manager ...Graham Potter is an absolute joke of an appointment....this is an appointment that shows Zero ambition!!! ...sorry just can't back or support this TERRIBLE appointment!!
So what we're saying is he's going to try and play Julian possession based football isn't that what we were trying to do only haven't got the players to carry out our back line is disgraceful we paid 40 million Max from Max kilman Jean-Claude we about the best offender we have and I think the team makes too many individual mistakes marapana is useless I would put Zuma I'm better Defender marapana are Max kilman Coin regards Irish JP
Hi nick potter is the right for the club because he can get the best out of the players 👍

Nice useful vid this 👍

Yeah! Potter is the Word!! But at the end of the season let's hope we're not left singing "Premier League Drop Out"
@HollomanUFOLanding nicely done ✅
I didn't know Potter was a greaser.
🤞 he isn't "Hopelessly devoted to Sou"

I’m sold he’s going to be a success now 😂
We only gave him two and half years?!?
Great video mate 👍🏻
Thanks Dave

Ready to get fully behind the new gaffer

Might not be the name everyone wanted.. BUT.. can you remember a better managerial appointment for West Ham in the past 20 years??
If you're referring to the North London Forever song, that was actually a song before Arsenal started using it, its by Louis Dunford, was quite surprised when I heard it properly as a song, but its a good one
Potter had a win record of 31 % at Brighton why is everyone so sure he's our saviour ??
Because social media told them lol. Fun fact Nottingham Forest are winning games with one striker and 40% possession, sound familiar?

Gwaham must be the chosen messiah, as I've followed a few!

@FlowDeFlowDrainageyes, great point, and they are booting it long. Hoof ball. Third in the league. I’m delighted for them. Team spirit wins.
Potter will be ok if we get a new cf cb box to box midfielder back up rb lb and keeper that can pass the ball to beat the press .
So if Potter plays Swan Lake to his teams, does that mean we'll now see everyone at Rush Green tiptoeing around in leotards & a white tutu skirt? 😲
This all sounds way to complicated to me
Let’s just get behind him and try & win games ⚒️
Nick looks like Graham Potter's cleaner shaven little brother... (another one for the looky likey list...)
All sounds pretty positive......
Portuguese trainers seem to work well in the Premier
Were there any negative articles about him?...
I feel Paulo Fonseca is the one for us
