This mod is so cool. Like Chris Pratt. You see, a lot of people think Chris Pratt is unfit to play Mario. I disagree. Looking at Chris Pratt's past performances, he seems to excel when it comes to playing the average Joe. Think about it: he's the protagonist in the lego movie, he's Starlord in Guardians of the Galaxy, he's the guy from Jurassic World, etc. And what is Mario if not an average Joe with no personality? Yes, I know, Charles Martinet did an incredible voice, but come on. Mario could be played by literally anyone. Especially considering how protective Nintendo is of their intellectual property these days: there's no way they consider the Mario RPG games and the like as canon. To them, Mario is just a jumpy blank slate with no emotions. What, he has a brother and he likes a girl? Give me a break. You couldn't make a blander character if you tried. Unless you were Hollywood. They have got the formula down pat. Every year, they will sell you a big name actor with a decent amount of talent playing a complete blank slate. Sometimes they'll even do it multiple times a year. I hear you disagreeing already, but think about it seriously. How many protagonists from big action Hollywood movies you've watched recently could be broken down to "Has a family he loves veeeeeery veery much" and/or "has a love interest", "has a background in the military/special training" and "is a protagonist"? All of them? Yeah, thought so. And Mario is exactly that. He cares very much about his brother, that's the family aspect. His love interest is Peach, duh. He has had special training as a plumber which, considering the size of the pipes in the Mushroom Kingdom and how many of them have piranha plants in them, counts as military training. He's also very much a protagonist. There's a reason big entertainment companies do this: it sells very well. People identify very easily with blank slate characters who have the ability to feel love (except psychopaths, but no one makes content that exclusively caters to psychopaths, the disorder is probably just too rare for it to be profitable). As you can tell by now, both companies have a very good understanding of how to make a blank relatable protagonist. And this time Hollywood had their work cut out for them: they already had the character and story designed. All they had to do was pick an actor, and who better than Chris Pratt? His recent roles as white male protagonist #9001 have been extremely successful, especially the MCU ones, and everyone knows about him. The reveal that he would be Mario alone gave them an insane amount of publicity for FREE. So from a business and movie perspective, Chris Pratt playing Mario just makes sense. Now, onto the real issue: Chris Pratt as Garfield. This will not work at all. You see, Garfield is not your typical hero. He has a complex and twisted outlook on life, a very cynical attitude caused by his abandonment issues. Indeed, although this is not well known, Garfield's first master (a lasagna store owner) died many years ago. This is why Garfield insists on eating lasagna, and is also responsible for his very dark and pessimistic perception of things. Added onto this is his power of immortality, which has severely altered his connection to the rest of sentient life on Earth. You might not know this, but Garfield actually tricked Death several times, taking advantage of the fact that Death did not know how many of his nine cat lives he had left. Indeed, this has given Garfield the opportunity to reset the timer of his own life - and he could very well do it again. This means Garfield is in an unique position where he will outlive his owners eternally unless he himself chooses death, being completely satisfied with his life. And these are only a few of Garfield's tragic backstories. He has also experienced death eight times, which would take a toll on anyone. With all this in mind, it only makes sense that he would take to unhealthy coping mechanisms: being violent to others and objects, eating too much, sleeping all day. I really do not think Chris Pratt, who's specialty is - as stated - completely average characters can truly master the subtleties of such a character. I fear he may simply reduce the iconic cat to a punchline, a joke of a cat. It's hard to understand what the director was thinking when he chose the casting. Did he not realise the stark contrast between the actor and the acted? Or did he simply think this role would give Chris an opportunity to bloom and flourish as an actor? We may never know. I, for one, am very apprehensive of this upcoming movie, and have therefore decided that I will not see it as it premieres. I will instead wait until the second day of release, as a show of protest: Garfield is an incredible character and franchise that should nto be taken lightly. It should not be a place for a director to simply cast random actors in the hopes that they will display talents unheard of until then. Smash Like. - เกม

I’m at a loss of words. When I saw the words “Mario: Chris Pratt”, I vomited so much that I couldn’t get high anymore, all of the edibles were out of me. Then I vomited up blood and had to go to the hospital, where I didn’t understand a single word because I’m stuck in Czechia. I broke my Pickle Rick pipe that I bought with me. It’s the 20th anniversary of my family her going missing. I tried to astral project to fight Chris Pratt in the astral realm, but I couldn’t find him. I don’t think he has the soul to even fight. If he did, I could beat him. I took on Astral Yaoi Ronald Reagan, after all, I’m so mad, so fucking mad. It all hurts, it hurts so much. I’m traumatised, I have PTSD. Weed isn’t even helping me calm down. I don’t feel like I’m stable enough for harder drugs. This flat has ketamine and all sorts if harder drugs, but if I do any of them, I feel like I’ll black out and do horrible things to myself and others. I feel like I’m on the verge of a blood rage. If I wasn’t spiritually strong, I would’ve gone into a full blood rage. I’m starting a journal dedicating to manifesting bad energy towards Chris Pratt. I’m trying to send him psychic attacks and it keeps getting blocked. I think he has a consciousness shield of some kind. I’m so mad. I’m so fucking mad.

This boss and Chris Pratt is cool and all but you wanna know what's also cool? I got to the climb phase of anyrad twice today and I got to the platform phase 5 times! I got about 7 or 8 plats up in climb my heart was racing too much to count :^)
