That's because Liam is young and innocent and Pat is basically the old man from Up.
It's hard to put into scope due to video, but pat's height makes it *_really_* hard to be threatening.
There's also the fact that he never seems totally serious. In heated discussions with woolie, he could be yelling his little baby lungs off and you never really think he's actually that mad.

I did not expect Paige to know this much about furries. But she's dating a basketball, so who knows what she's into?
I went to a fur con a few years ago with some friends and had no idea what to expect. It was awesome. Big money smash tournament. There was a full catering table full of free bacon. Three nights of different musical entertainment (Rock show, comedy/music, and a rave). The artist ally was unlike anything I'd ever seen at any other con. And the atmosphere was the most relaxed and openly friendly I'd ever seen. It was awesome.
